Dr Cichon seems to be one of the few doctors left that are in the medical practice as a calling and not a job. He explains his treatment and listens to suggestions. He is the only doctor we have seen that has not pushed us off to someone else when the easiest treatment doesn't work. He looks at the whole patient and not just within a narrow specialty ban. He has been open to working with other doctors and looking for more than one cause. He and his nurse are the only people who have reviewed the entire medical history and on going labs. They are determined to find the solution.

Dr. Cichon IS an angel! When I moved from New York, couldn't find an infectious disease doc that didn't pronounce Lyme Disease - Lymes. BAD sign. Thank God someone recommended Dr. C. From our first meeting I knew he was not only intelligent and perceptive, but compassionate. His mission- Getting me and his patients healthier. My experience with Dr. C. for the past 7 years- driving 250 miles round trip to see him- has always been positive. His staff is both professional, caring and friendly-albeit very busy most of the time. I highly recommend Dr. Cichon, who views his patients as people- not just by their illness. I am eternally grateful to this stellar practice.

I first saw Dr. Cichon in Dec. 2010 because I had a bitemark then a bullseye rash, he treated me with 2 antibiotics, then added a third, I was hospitalized twice in Decemeber 2010 but since he did not take my insurance my primary care did everything and he's not even lyme literate but was much more compassinate than Dr. Cichon. He could never remember that I'd had a hysterectomy, always asked the same questions, first he said I had lyme disease then Bartonella and then when I saw him about a week ago he said he didn't know what I had. The office staff sucks, Sue is awful and acts as if she knows everything. I am doing much better because of my own research and reaching out to others, I am going to see a doctor in Pennsylvania. Save yourself some money, time and heartache..don't go see Dr. Cichon, starts off nice but when he can't figure it out becomes nonchalant and rude as well as the staff. Please listen to me, he's awful!!!!

I liked Dr Cichon. With CFS & then Lyme Disease, I was with him about 10 yrs and have VERY mixed feelings about it all. He is very smart & skilled; i thot the many tests he ran were legitimate. Without him i doubt i'd have gotten the well-deserved permanent disability. But Dr. Cichon is way too busy and thus forgets which patient has what. He is overloaded with Lyme info/knowledge and so tries everything -- i ended up in the ER when he gave me two contraindicated meds. He's always late with the patients. I was really hurt when after seeing him for years, he dropped me w/o warning. i'm a writer myself; don't know whether he or a staffmember wrote the letter but it stunk. It was abrupt and rude -- not like he is in person at all. I thought his staff stunk too -- right hand didn't know what left was doing. someone mentioned about reading your own notes. YES! not sure who wrote "might be doubling up" but i wasn't & was hurt upon reading this yrs later. i'd still go to him cuz he's an LLD

God bless this Doctor who is willing to go above and beyond to treat chronically ill patients. With all the controversy surrounding Lyme, he is a hero. His staff was polite and knowledgeable. Who are these people who claim he's not compassionate and caring???? I had been to over 15 Dr.s before being diagnosed and treated, and I have NEVER had a more positive experience than with Dr. Cichon. He IS NOT a waste of your money, if you listen to him and follow his protocol, you WILL get well. Remember, anyone can write anything they like about any Dr. without even having SEEN the Dr. I can't believe that some of these comments are even actual patients. I only wish the very best for Dr. Cichon, Sue, and the rest of his staff. If you are a Lyme sufferer, don't make the mistake of going to another Dr if you can see Dr.Cichon. My family is eternally grateful to him and he holds a very special place in our hearts.

I went in for a sore throat, and he ran $700.00 worth of tests. In the end his diagnosis was "sore throat." His staff is awful!

Dr. Cichon was very kind to my parents and kept them well for several years. He seems very passionate and thorough with his care.. For anyone who lives out of state and worries about their parents care.. I felt Dr. Cichon to be very trustworthy.

He is a nice person. Overworked and never remembers you or what he did for you from visit to visit. Everyone who sees him has "Lyme". That must be is $$ maker! And if you do not get well, he dumps you, instead of finding out what the real reason is behind it. Everyone is correct, his staff (except for a couple) are so rude and nasty. Do not question them about ANYTHING. Save you $ and find another Dr. to treat you for Lyme, the right way!

This doctor needs to retire, because he is senile and Sue Ganio the WICKED WITCH of Tampa runs the practice. I wouldn't trust him to treat my goldfish. He must have Lyme disease because he can not remember anything; least of all his patients or the meds they are taking. His charity is a HOAX and the office staff is dishonest as well as rude.
