Dr Aranibar told my mom she was “fine” after a referral from her heart dr who heard something in her chest. 2 months later we learn she has COPD for awhile! He listened to her lungs and asked if she ever smoked. Ran no tests nothing!

His lack of knowledge harmed me. He disabled me with his decisions. Then he had no idea what to do and started yelling at me. Arrogant and ignorant. Run away.

My wife had a near brush with death while under Dr. Aranibar's care. Faced with a medical problem, he seemed not to know what to do. Fortunately, his stand-in Doctor was very decisive, recommended surgery. Surgeon was excellent. Dr. Aranibar was also our primary and he did not have the courtesy to inform us directly that my wife was to be moved to another hopital for surgery. His stand-in and the surgeon did it all. He was only too willing to pass this case on because I believe he had no idea what to do except continue with drugs and allow nature to take its course. In this case Dr. Aranibar was totally MIA. Actually, I was shocked at his conduct since over the years I had known him as a personable, down to earth individual. I expected more but in this critcal case he completely disappointed me. Dr, Aranibar may be fine for the occassional cold, flu or even bronchitis. Our experience in this case would say do get another opinion or another Doctor for anything more serious.

He listens to what you, the patient says. This is HUGE. Also you can see him thinking about what you have said and reviewing that with his clinical findings. He seems INTERESTED, and present.

I will NEVER return to Dr. Aranibar. He focuses entirely on imaging and tests and does not listen to clinical symptoms. He has never listened to my lungs. A recent CT scan revealed a small mass in my lung. Dr. Aranibar called me at work and told me that it was malignant. When I questioned basing a malignant diagnosis on a CT scan, he told me there was no doubt about the malignancy. Unacceptable. Both giving a patient a cancer *definitive* diagnosis over the phone! He was certain it had not metastasized. Thank you Dr. Is that how you were taught to handle issues like this in medical school?
I had a PFT the following day. He did not listen to my lungs, although I was having some breathing issues. Why? Because the PFT was great. Again, he told me I DEFINITELY had an adenocarcinoma in my lung and needed a lobectomy. Not "maybe". Definitely. He was very dismissive. Yesterday I received a call from his office. After almost a week of emotional distress for myself, my family and friends the PET scan revealed that the mass is probably an inflammation.
Thank you Dr. Aranibar. You did more harm than good.

Rudest, most egotistical MD I've seen, and I've seen a lot. No help at all with my problem either.

Dr. Aranibar is the most wonderful, caring doctor I have ever had, and I'm not a kid. He was by my side always when it was necessary for me to have a 4 1/2 month hospital stay. He will always see me when I need him and I never have to wait any long periods of time. I just changed insurance so I could remain with him and I would do it again. His staff is great. Jackie has always been helpful and pleasant.

Dr. is wonderful . He saved my life. He was attentive to me and kept my husband calm and hopeful. I never have had to wait longer than 15 minutes to see him in the office and staff have been great.
