I went to emerg at Mississauga trillium last night. This doctor is amazing. I broke my ankle and was treated quickly professionally and he communicated everything that I needed to know. I’m so thankful that Dr Ahmad was there yesterday. Great bedside manner.

This doctor was very not knowledgeable of what he was doing. Because of him I got really worse. He was rushing he didn’t even examine me. I had to be off work for 3 days and lost a lot of money. Because he was neglectful of what he should have gave me. I could have gotten better if he gave me what the physician I go to he gave me and I would not have suffered for a week with a really bad bronchitis it was so severe I started coughing blood. I want him to pay for this mistake I am not a number just to treat me like this.

Fantastic experience with the Dr. Ahmad. Good listener, detail oriented, made my excruciating pain stop quickly. Dr. followed up after an injection to inquire about pain, directly and personally instead of sending nurse which I appreciated. Thank you for caring.

Doctor treated me in Emergency at Cortelucci Hospital. Dr was very professional, patient, caring, went extra mile to care, even called after his work hours. An ideal doctor!

I came to the emergency room and I had all range of syptoms. Dr Zafar Ahmad was very professional in the way he assesed me, answered all my questions and took the time to explain a treatment plan. He followed up with me a couple days later to let me know my results were back and changed my medication. I can say that I am very happy with seeing this doctor and rest assure if you come across Dr. Ahmad, that you are in the best hands.

I went to Trillium Partners Mississauga Hospital on May 18, 2021 for my severe chest pain and heart palpitations I have been having for 10 days. I was advised by my family doctor through the telephone consultation on that same day not to take any chances and go straight to the emergency room which I did. When I was seen by the triage nurse lady, she was not very welcoming and she doesn't seem like she liked being a nurse she did an ECG and then I went to the registration desk and then proceed to the Rapid Assessment Zone (RAZ) waiting room. After an hour later, I did a full blood test too. I waited 4 hours to be seen by the emergency room physician. I was seen by Dr. Zafar David Ahmad. He was absolutely terrible for a doctor medicare employee. I was only seen for less than one minute instead of the 10 minutes as set by the official OHIP's fee codes for emergency medicine licensed physicians. He didn't even review by full blood testing report. I had to ask him for both the ECG and the blood testing reports and most importantly the official discharge report to leave the hospital. He wasn't very helpful at all. He told me its not a cardiac heart problem but a chest wall pain problem and he told me too look it up on the internet search engine instead of explaining everything to me fully what that is. Only his staff nurses in that department reviewed the reports with me and they were a lot better and nicer than Dr. Ahmad. He rushes out all of his patients and his nurses do most of the work. I'm glad all my testing results came back normal but if you have any life threatening medical problems, this is not a doctor you should see in the emergency department. Also I have seen that most of their nurses are just on their cellphones and chatting doing nothing and they are very rude especially to elderly senior patients. I have even seen a few of their emergency room nurses wearing shoes that look like pretty sneakers for showing off, what does that even tell you regarding the whole medical profession in Canada. Since this is a Medicare Publicly Province controlled hospital, there is no incentive to do a good job for patients and their families especially if its any serious medical emergencies. Overall it wasn't a good experience. Publicly own Medicare historically has never been proven to work since it denies all forms of mathematics.

My mother was brought by ambulance to Trillium on October 11th 2020 and Dr. Zafar Ahmad was the Dr working. He has zero bed side manner and perhaps he should considering working in another department of the hospital. When people are sick and in pain they should be meant with a caring and kind DR . After spending 6 hrs he sent her home and told her to come back if she experiences more shortness of breath or heart palpitations. She advised they haven't gone away or lessened. His response was go to see her family DR. He didn't even give her a COVID test. When I picked her up at the front door of emergency she was very upset, scared and very unwell. The paramedics asked more questions and provided better care to her than the DR. Will not go back to this hospital, the paramedic had advised he was taking her there and not Credit Valley (Credit Valley is less than a 5 min drive) because it wasn't as busy well now we know why.
