My experience with Dr. Boice is very rich, in that his professional and yet humorous personality made my visit, much easier to accept. He demonstrated genuine concern.

Excellent Doctor and worth the wait . If you are in serious need of oncologic gun care then he is the person to see. Dr. Boice can be called for emergency purposes . I would gladly see a Doctor that would drop everything for me in a dire emergency. You can't ask for a better Doctor of Oncology/Gyn.

I was referred to Dr. Boice by my Cardiologist .Last appt I waited 3 hours & 45 minutes to have him for the third time change the course of treatment. Accused me of being a daily smoker(never have smoked). Was so rude and emotionally abusive. He proceeded to tell me I did this to myself, it is my fault I am sick, then left the room. Still crying. If you enjoy S&M then he is your doctor.

I have to agree with the patient that posted 8/23/11. My GYN referred me to Dr. Boice. Dr. Boice belittled and insulted me. I was also humiliated, disrespected, as well as disliked by this Dr. and his staff. I went to his office with many serious health issues. I left his office and went home and cried for a week. I then called one of my other doctors and he referred me to an excellent doctor that works out of the DC area. Before you allow this Dr. to treat you such disrespect, look for another doctor. There are other good doctors that are also qualified and have respect for their patients. This is the worst experience I have ever had with a doctor.

My refering obgyn had to fax my info 3 different times because this office misplaced my info. Dr. Boice belittled me, spoke poorly of my previous Dr.s, he ignored information provided in my file, he would not answer my questions, . I felt humiliated, disrespected, as well as disliked by this Dr. I am sad to have had such an awful experience with a Dr. I hope that this was just a bad day for the Dr. and that he does not treat his future patients with such arrogance and disrespect.

Horrible doctor. Kills patients. Knicks bowels and other organs during surgeries. Wounds frequently dehiss and become infected. Would not recommend to anyone!

Took over the practice of a very knowledgeable, compentent and very well liked doctor who left for another state. So far, a good runner up for Dr. McCollum...

My gynecologist recommended Dr. Boice when I had a positive pap for cervical cancer 5 years ago. Dr. Boice was kind, caring, and totally knowledgeable. The radiologist I visited after the surgery (but fortunately did not need) said Dr. Boice is the most skilled surgeon he has ever known. You may have to wait some extra time in the waiting room, but it is worth it.

I am so very sorry for the ONE person who had what appears to be a bad experience with Dr. Boice's office. I can assure you it was NOT intentional, but the result of EFFICIENT efforts to meet the needs of his patient. Unlike most doctor's Dr. Boice does not just do the pop-in, pop-out service. He takes the time to get to know the patient and treat the ENTIRE person vs. just the physical. He challenges the insurance companies in YOUR behalf and treats you with dignity & respect. He actually returns calls too~!! Yes, he's sometimes late, BECAUSE he is not only a dignified Doctor & Surgeon, but he will give yu the same treatment. YOU COME FIRST~!! Isn't that the kind of doctor we all pray for when we hear the "C" word~?! I know I did~!! Although you were stressed, when it's YOUR turn, I'm sure you too will also expect to be treated like you are the ONLY patient he has~!! I beseech you, think about it & consider giving him another try. I can promise you won't regret it~!!
