Although office staff could be much more capable and professional, Dr. Boice, himself, is an expert in his field and a treasure to women with reproductive oncology issues.

I am livid to say the least. I cannot believe that this Dr and his incompetent staff are still in business. It is so sad that women, who are dealing with a very scary moment in their lives are subjected to this charade. I was lucky, my regular GYN and GP caught me in pre-cancer. I was sent to Dr. Boice basically as a last resort to hysterectomy. Do not get me wrong, I have no objection to his skill in surgury nor his knowledge based on reproductive cancer. I seriously doubt him in the areas of patient care, relations, scheduling, and selection of his staff. Please, unless you are fine with constantly having their rude receptionists (plural!) call and cancel moments before your appointment (I've been rescheduled for 10 months now)... unless you are fine with offices loosing your files, unless you are able to wait around for hours on end in the lobby, unless you are fine with a doctor who brushes off your questions- GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

I was recommended to Dr. Boice by my gynecologist. He was generous with his time. He also seemed like a genius, someone extremely knowledgable but unable to explain well to a lay person. Very capable and thorough in his exam. My only reluctance was that his surgical skills did not include latest advances (laparoscopic, robotic). Having heard about so many such unnecessary surgeries, I was did further research and opted for robotic by someone else and avoided a hysterectomy.
