Dr Koval has been a wonderful dr for my mom and myself. Yes she is human and does not walk on water, she has never claimed to either. All I know is that she does care, she is willing to find an answer when she does not have one, and does have staff follow up to make sure everything is ok. Dr Koval has given great advise for taking care of someone older as I do for my mom, and her care for my mom is genuine. I have seen many dr and by far to this point in my life I am very pleased with the practice, any of the drs I have had to seen when Dr Koval was unavailable, and Dr Koval herself. She is very professional. You can't go wrong with her.

My husband & I have been patients of Dr. Koval for almost 20 yrs. We have always been very happy with her compassion & care. Last year she sent my husband for a stress test that saved his life. We have never had trouble getting an appointment when we are ill. I highly recommend her!

I had a been a patient of hers since '95 & until the last 6 yrs I have noticed a considerable difference in her. She contacted me after I was in the ER due to a Ovarian Cyst. I thought it was my health that she was concerned with-not so-she focused on an outstanding bill that I was paying on. More worried about getting her money-she was rude & wouldn't listen to me. Accused me of being late to my appt. when I was early, because paper work wasn't finished being filled out. She did blood/urine test-I got the results on saturday{3days later} telling me I have diabetes & to call & set up an appt for classes. My mother was a patient of hers as well-until dr koval prescribed a medication & my mom had a reaction to it. She asked her about it and dr koval yelled/screamed at her to get out of her office. She could have had a stroke from the meds if she had continued on them. She is now seeing another dr and is doing fine. I'm looking for a new dr myself now. I DON'T RECOMMEND HER TO ANYONE!

I have been a patient of Dr. Koval for about 20 years - I may have been one of her first. I am lucky I found her as my doctor. She talks with you, treats you like friend and really knows you and your health history. I have never had her be rude or sarcastic as a couple of other reviews say - and I have had far more experience with her then they have.

Dr. Koval has been my doctor for many years, and has also treated other family members of mine. I have always felt that she afforded plenty of time for my office visits, and that her examinations were thorough and professional. Her staff members are always polite, and I get quick responses to questions I pose by telephone. Yearly physicals are scheduled well in advance, but Dr. Koval schedules time each day for unexpected illnesses, and can see patients for most problems within one or two days. I would highly recommend her as a physician who is truly interested in the health of her patients.

Sadly, I must agree. During my most recent appointment, Dr. Koval raised her voice and became sarcastic. I have heard about similar mistreatment from another relative who is her patient, too. I am looking for another doctor.

I agree with the previous rater that Dr. Ann Koval completely lacks compassion and sometimes can be very cold and detached. I also thought that it was just my perception but now I know that another patient also feels the same way. She does not provide enough time for the patients. I always feel rushed and do not feel comfortable asking her questions. She is not willing to listen to her patients. NOT RECOMMENDED!

In order to get an appt in a timely manner, you must say you are having major complications such as hard to breathe. Otherwise, they will schedule you for a appt in 8-12 weeks. Also, she does not allow you to advise her of other medical concerns during a appt. She will tell you to schedule another appt instead of showing compassion about what is ailing you, she focus on the dollar. She can be very cold to patients showing lack of concern for their medical needs. I was with this doctor for more than 10 years, thinking it was just me. But when she informed us to go see another doctor (pay out of our pockets)because we did not call early enough to schedule, that was it. Her hours are limited, no appts after 2pm
