Dr. Holmes diagnosed and surgically repaired my knee problem. I was back to work on Monday after Friday surgery with minimal pain. Better than the knee had been in months. Dr. Holmes and staff are 100% professional and I am grateful for their excellent care.

Scheduled for a Friday when the Dr. is not in. My first time here but apparently it's been that way for years. When I finally had my appointment the staff was rude. I was first asked for my story and problems. Multiple times I was interrupted, the worst being "I don't need your story, where does it hurt?" When I pointed to anything other than my foot I was met with rolled eyes and an over-exaggerated sigh. He left then in came another assistant. She tried to push me off to the X-Ray room but I had many questions. "Any questions you have for the Dr. you can ask me." When I began explaining my time availability issue, again I was interrupted "Do you have enough money to pay for it all right now?" That's none of her business but yes I do have the money to pay right now, but i'm not going to pay for 10+ X-Rays before seeing a Dr. once. She responded "The Dr. will not see you until after X-Rays." I asked "Not even a hello?" She responded "No, now are you ready for the X-Rays?" No thank you.

Peter Homes was arrogant and short with me. He didn't do a very good job explaining my condition. I felt like I had to ask several questions in order to get a straight answer from him. At first he said I had a torn ACL...which he said wouldn't "really" need surgery! What kind of medical advice is that! He said, "You broke a bone." after asking which bone and where it is.. it turned out to be the tibial bone but I didn't tear any ligaments, so no surgery is needed. I don't see how you break a bone without any tears. I don't trust him and will be getting a second opinion.

Dr. Holmes is an excellent dr. He told my husband what needed to be done. We liked that he was straight forward and honest. My husband has surgery on a Friday morning , by Saturday evening he was up and moving around. Dr. Holmes staff were pretty nice also and seemed caring. Now that im having problems with my knee I would like him as my dr. I recommend him to anybody.

Dr. Holmes is the best. Five weeks after knee replacement surgery, my knee flexibility was 135 degrees. After surgery my knee pain was almost nil, and my recovery was fast. Should have had the surgery a year earlier. Thank god for Dr. Holmes and his staff. Oz Parker

My experience from beginning to end was a positive one. The doctor and staff were very supportive which made all the difference. I highly recommended Dr. Holmes to a sister and a very close friend and they also had a positive experience.g

Dr. Holmes gave me my life back 14 years and 9 months ago. I had been on crutches for over six months. After the two and a half weeks, I was back at work, the company only allowed me to work half a day, went to rehab during the afternoon. If you do the rehab (though at times you might want to quit because of the discomfort) it pays to do ALL of it. I was able to start driving at four weeks and was back to work fulltime. However, if you are overweight, do yourself a favor and start losing. Over the past 6 1/2 years I have lost a total of 68 pounds. You are doing your joints a big favor! After my check up yesterday, Dr. Holmes said it looked as good as when he had done it.

I DREADED ROTATOR CUFF SURGERY, BUT IT COULDN'T HAVE GONE ANY BETTER. THE METHODIST AMBULATORY SURGICAL HOSPITAL WAS FABULOUS! (I WORK FOR A DIFFERENT HOSPITAL) EVERYONE WAS COMPLETELY PROFESSIONAL & CARING. I HAD NOT 1 ISSUE OR CONCERN. I WOULD PREFER TO GO BACK THERE IF I EVER NEED ANOTHER SURGERY. THE WAITING AREA IS NOT POSH, NO WASTED MONEY THERE, BUT IT IS NICE & LARGE, NO CROWDING. MY SURGERY WAS RELATIVELY EASY. I WENT HOME LATER THAT DAY. MY SURGERY & RECOVERY WERE LESS PAINFUL THAN I EXPECTED. I REALLY CAN'T SAY ENOUGH ABOUT THE DR OR THE FACILITY. NO SURGERY IS COMPLETELY PLEASANT, BUT THIS WAS A GREAT EXPERIENCE. WAY TO GO DOC! THANKS FOR A GREAT SHOULDER & A GREAT EXPERIENCE.

Dr.H did orthoscopic surgery on my r knee 4/10. He told me then that all my joints were affected by arthritis & I would need additional treatment, including joint replacement, but he always approached my condition in a very conservative way - giving me the info I needed for me to make my own decision about treatment &/ or surgery. In addition to my knee & hip issues he discovered my back "was a mess". After I had my R hip replaced in 3/11 I fell. My hip didn't we to be damaged but my recovery process took a are eras. I went from walking w/o a Cain to barely being able to stand up. I just didn't believe that my hip was Ok. Dr. Holmes referred me to a spine specialist and acted as my counselor in my decision making to have spinal fusion on my lower spine. I had the spine surgery 8/3/12. Almost immediately I realiz that my hip was fine-no damage from the fall-my back was the primary case of my pain and inability to stand &walk. THANK YOU, Dr.H for guiding sme through everything!,
