I had seen Andrea over a period of 4 years, through a divorce, loss of my home, bankruptcy, re-employment and at times incredible dispair. She provided empathy and concrete suggestions for me to move forward with my life. In her straightforward and compassionate approach she spoke from a place of truth and sincerity. I depended on her vast base of knowledge and her real life experiences. I would highly recommend Andrea. My life now is proof of her excellent counseling.

Dr. Andrea VanSteenhouse is an excellent psychologist. She's professional, caring, thorough, experienced, level-headed, kind, concerned, compassionate, and -- best of all -- she's resourceful. She wants to see clients take action and get better and she seems to have all kinds of good advice. It is up to the clients to just do it but if people are willing to take action then they'd do very well to see Dr. VanSteenhouse because she will guide them to a better life, regardless of what kind of junk's happened in the past.

Dr. VanSteenhouse is absolutely excellent at what she does. She's extremely intelligent and she takes detailed notes during sessions because she cares a lot about keeping the facts straight so that she can most effectively help her clients. She works really hard because SHE REALLY CARES THAT HER CLIENTS' LIVES GET BETTER. She is knowledgeable and bright and, best of all, she has a great sense of humor. SHE'S ONE OF THE BEST PSYCHOLOGISTS IN THE WORLD AND DENVER IS VERY LUCKY TO HAVE HER. She's compassionate, understanding, and experienced but what I like most about her is that she's very "solutions-oriented." She often says, "What are you going to do about it?" and comes up with ways for clients to make changes that will result in improvements in their lives. Dr. VanSteenhouse is a wonderful resource who's helped scores of people.
