This guy is no doctor, Frankenstein at best. He killed my cousin with his recommendation of preventing chemo treatment. He is lousy at best, prison for this doctor. Horrible doctor, he is no healer. Be ware of this practitioner at best. He basically killed my cousin. His recommendation of chemo prevention killed my cousin, put my cousin into acidosis. Watch Your neutrofils levels as they are your immune system indicators to fight disease. I’m watching for this doctors arrests, I’ve studied biology, chemistry, and physics and I’m telling you he is the worst. I give him a zero, I will spare nothing in this category.

nurses are wonderful, very informative and answering all questions. Dr. does not explain things clearly and answer questions with clarity. Comes across as very cold and uncaring. Leaves room very abruptly leaving me with unanswered questions

He indicated he had little knowledge of my diasease. After 8 months he still had no new knowledge of my disease and made little effort to help me find alternatives. Had I remained in his care I would be dead.

Find a different doctor. He didn't want to touch my breasts, the exam was not thorough. I came with a list of questions and every time I asked something he said the nurse would tell me. The nurse was excellent.

not well prepared for meetings. very low talker and not a great explainer. Maybe he is a good doctor but I found he spoke without confidence and did not answer our questions. We have had such great doctors in the past that our experience with Dr. Ghafoor was disappointing.

Regardless of what a patient's ailment is, any/all physicians need to be aware of the damage they can cause with their attitudes and spoken word. If a Dr feels the need to distance himself to the point of being cold and uncaring with his patients, he should seriously review his attitudes. NO, I do not feel it is the Dr's place to sugar coat any diagnosis/prognosis however there are ways to be less cold and a lot more gentle in the presentation to the patient. No need to be calloused in delivery Dr Ghafoor, it causes undue pain to the patients, their families and, in some cases, a completel loss of hope.

My elderly father was diagnosed with nonhodgkins lymphoma in 2003 and had to suffer through three separate series of chemo treatments over the following six years. Dr. Ghafor was the attending Oncologist for all of these treatments. My Family found him most compassionate and caring for the well being of my Father. This Doctor is also a realist and explains the way senarios can be expected to play out. He was not blunt but sympathetically realistic. His spoken english is a little difficult to understand especially for anyone with a hearing impairment, so I always accompanied my Parents to the appointments. My Father liked him and truly appreciated him. He offered options for Dad but never pressured him to follow any set course of action. In the end, I feel he gave Dad five extra years and he eventually sucumbed to congestive heart failure last month. Dr Ghafor did his best and I would highly recommend this Doctor.

Dr. Ghafoor is a very quiet, compassionate and caring man. He was extremely good to my mother who was diagnosed with Stage IV metastatic melanoma. I have nothing but the utmost respect for this man who was kind to us and spared no necessary testing and opened doors for the possibility of clinical trials. I will never for get his kindness to us delivered in his quiet gentle nature.
