Knowledgeable caring helped when really needed it follow up in quick timing

I have been his patient for 25 years and have had many physical problems . He is the best in finding the problem and the best for the solution. He has called me personally when something in my tests show I need to be informed and seen quickly. If I needed a specialist in another field he always knew who to send me to. He is a very conscientious and compassionate person.

I don't know where these negative reviews are coming from. Of course he has to run tests so he will know what is wrong, if anything. I have found him to very pleasant and knowledgeable. He has called me personally when he has seen something in my tests that I need to be informed about quickly. I have found the office staff to be courteous and friendly. He is a doctor that other doctors send their family members to. To me, that's a great endorsement.

I have been seeing Dr. Wine for 10 years. He has always displayed an academic level of knowledge and implementation. He is self-demanding and conscientious.

I have been seeing Dr. Wine for over ten years. I absolutely love him. When he diagnosed me with Diabetes he did not mix words. He told me first and foremost to get on an exercise regimen (which I did - having dropped three dress sizes) and frankly, I have never felt better. So, I am not sure what the remarks about prescriptions are all about. His assistant, Cynthia, is helpful and promptly calls me back. Admittedly, He is not a handholder but he is candid and honest. I love that about him.

I believe this doctor does not truly listen to his patients. He simply wants to hand you a prescription or two and be done with you. He is on autopilot. He will run basic tests on you, but there is not follow through if they come back negative as others have stated. I think people can find more interested, compassionate and friendly doctors elsewhere. His staff can also be moody at times.

I feel Dr. Wine really only wants to treat test results and not the feeling of the patient. Additionally, my referel request wasn't answered for a week and then it was denied while my OB was able to refer me in a day.

Dr. Wine is an excellent physician who treats his patients as he would a close relative of his.

This doctor doesnt have a very good bedside manner. He seems to only want to treat my symptoms with medications rather than making an attempt to determine an underlying cause. Having said that, he will request run-of-the-mill diagnostic tests, however when those come back negative, that's it. There is no further testing to determine the root of the problem, and I am brushed aside. His staff is horrible at courtesy calls and generally will not contact me when results come out "normal". When they return calls, there is always an excuse as to why they didnt call me back. I will not be returning to this office as I do not feel I am getting proper care, if any care at all.

I have generally never felt "listened to" with this doctor. My opinion is that he would rather treat symptoms with medication as opposed to finding an underlying cause. A few general diagnostic tests are run, but if they come back negative, there is no pursuit of anything further. I have felt many times that I am not a very important patient, but rather a nuisance.
