This doctor has the worst bedside manner - and I've had a lot of bad doctors. Very low knowledge of concurrent conditions. Despite a $200 injection fee (ontop of OHIP) she can't seem to get me out of there fast enough. Usually it's about 24 botox shots in about 2-3 minutes. Often the pain of the shots causes me distress and she shows zero concern. If i ask her to slow down the shots so i can manage the pain better she doesn't. If i say i need a breath between shots she appears annoyed with the needle in hand and waiting. This time I was visibly and audible crying by the end of the treatment and she didn't even ask if I was okay and just left the room with a "take care and see you in 3 months". She opened the door to leave to leave while I was still in my undershirt and was getting my t shirt back on. She's so bad I'm considering paying 4x the injection fee just to try with another medical professional because it's been 3 years of this and I don't know if I can take anymore.

During my recent visit, Dr Wilkins was professional, knowledgeable and efficient when assessing and confirming my concerns. She offered her recommendations on treatments to correct my discomfort and I was in and out of her office in 15 minutes. I would definitely recommend Dr Wilkins to friends or family.

Very kind, knowledgeable staff. Dr. Wilkins was thorough and reassuring. I am experiencing some nerve tingling and numbness in my arms and lower legs due to B6 toxicity from supplements . Dr.Wilkins and the technician who assessed me were both extremely professional and knowledgeable. They provided recommendations for recovery.. I feel validated and reassured. Thank you so much for that.

I had a terrible experience with her many years ago. Basically told me I was faking illness. She hardly even examined me and told me my physiotherapist should not be playing doctor by suggesting diagnosis. She was more worried about how her clothes, high heel shoes and hair looked that day than how her patients were doing. She should ne more compassionate for patients who have waited months upon months to see her. It takes a really compassionate person to deal with complaining patients everyday but you also need to keep in mind that complaining for most stems from years of pain and suffering

I was sent to Dr Wilkins twice by my GP for neuropathy. It started in the 2nd toe of my right foot and was slowly moving it's way up my foot and ankle. First visit a staff member did a test on my feet an legs. I saw Dr. Wilkins for about 5 minutes. She had a list if my meds which included Vitamin B Complex and Gabapentin which my GP had prescribed for me. She said she couldn't find anything wrong and would send a note to my GP and sent me on my way with no hope. After about 5 years and my Gabapentin dosage increasing to almost the max amount I again asked my GP to send me to a specialist. He sent me to...Dr. Wilkins. The test was done again. Again she said there was nothing. This time I told her there had to be something! Both my feet were in pain! I was experiencing sharp jabs in my feet and toes that felt like a charlie horse. I told her it felt like my feet were on fire and I was walking on pins and needles. This information I told her because I knew something was wrong! I asked her what I could do about it because it was REAL! She asked me about my meds...guess she didn't think it necessary to read her chart...either time!! When I told her I took Vitamin B Complex she casually mentioned that too much Vitanin B6 could cause my symptoms!!! Wish I'd been told that on my first visit 5 years prior!! She told me that once the damage was done it was irreversible!!! So...I lived wit it but stopped the Vitamin B. Now...new GP sent me to a REAL Neuropathic Dr. Did the test. Explained that fibres deep in my feet/ankles are affected and causing the pain. I had weaned myself off the high dose of Gabapentin and did some research. Found a medication that I wanted to try. Spoke to my new GP. The new med is helping. The Neurologist told me that it absolutely CAN be reversed. That is where I'm at now...waiting for my GP to get his letter and how to proceed. YEARS AND YEARS of pain, liss of balance and 'idiopathic ' neuropathy. It wasn't necessary and I honestly believe that had Dr. Wilkins paid the slightest bit of attention it would not have been this big an issue. She's NOT professional where neuropathy is concerned. She and my former GP should have been aware and listened...
