I saw this doctor a few years ago and wasn't impressed. She tried pushing all sorts of meds and birth control on me, after I explained to her I got very ill from BC. She seemed more concerned on getting me on all sorts if medications without actually knowing what the health issue was yet. ( As it turned out after getting a pap, ultrasound and blood work that it was due to high stress). She would have had me on all sorts of stuff unrelated to my health issues.

The receptionists are very accommodating to my having to travel from a different community for my appointments. Dr. Golosinski is very good, delivered my first child during an emergency and recently delivered my second one, I would recommend her to anyone hands down!

Receptionist was rude. Left me waiting 15 mins while chatting with a lady outside. Saw me standing in front of the door waiting for office to open but she didn't care about me or the fact she was over 15 mins late of opening time. Dr. Golosinski was excellent however. I had her first surgery. She was exceptional and very methodical and pleasant through all my appointments and surgery.

Saw her for surgery and she was excellent. She explained everything to me thoroughly and was just super pleasant in general. Felt like I was in good hands!

I saw this doctor for the first time a little over a year ago. Went back recently where minor surgery was recommended which I had last week. Normally this would have been a "day surgery" but because of other health issues I have I was kept in hospital for 24 hours. She was very attentive at all times ~ in her office, in operating room area just before surgery, and in hospital following surgery. The most pleasant aspect of my experience was that someone from her office called a few days following this surgery to find out how I was doing. I have had my share of surgeries and never had such a call in the past. Office staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Strongly recommend this doctor should you need one.

I got in to see this dr quickly. She was pleasant and always gives you all the time you need to ask questions. Staff are respectful of privacy when they call to confirm appointment and smiling and human in person. I have a lot of confidence in this doctor. Not sure about the previous patient's experience posted on this site, I've never heard of an IUD being put in under general anaesthetic at a hospital, I always understood those were done in the dr's office normally. My experience of this doctor was great, she apologized if anything she did in the exam hurt me and was careful to be sure I was comfortable at all times. She was accepting of my choices about what action to take and when I didn't take the pills she gave me and explained why, she was completely accepting of that. I did not feel judged at all nor did she push me in any direction at all. I am planning to have surgery done by her and wait times are only 1-3 months. I was amazed to be able to get in that quickly.

AVOID THIS DR! I saw her 5 yrs ago now and have never been sexually active (aka I'm a VIRGIN) and she didn't believe me. I was there to have a Mirena inserted due to medical issues. I had never even had a pap test and hadn't had a period in years. I had been on depo provera but it caused my bone density to get too low so we had to do something different, which is why I had to go this route. I was petrified. We talked and she did make me feel okay about it but when I asked if they could just put me under and do it, she laughed and said that was overkill for an IUD. Maybe it would be if you had been sexually active, had a child, had a period (as in your cervix would be dilated a bit), etc. But I was none of those things. She did get it in, while I was screaming in pain the entire time. She just forced it up there eventhough my muscles were instinctively contracting to try and get it to stop. She gave me 1 mg of Ativan which didn't dent me. After, I felt like I was going to faint. I just wanted out of there and we left. It was honestly the worst experience of my life. It felt as though I had been raped (physically). For 3 days, I vomitted, had severe cramping and bleeding (which I think bleeding is probably normal) and couldn't walk more than 15 ft without having severe dizziness. It passed and for 5 years I have been terrified to go back, to the point that I've had severe anxiety attacks over 5 years thinking about it. My GP at the time kept telling me not to worry about it and that it was years down the road. I have never experienced anything like that before. Fast forward 5 years and I got a different gyno and different GP. I went in to see him and he was appauled that she did this in her office and before I even told him my story, he said "we're going to do it in the OR and put you to sleep". I couldn't believe it. I was made to feel like I was being rediculous for asking about it with her. He appologized profusely and said things like "I am shocked she did this" and "I cant believe they did this to a virgin" and "we're not all that way" and he even used the term "inhumane" and said "I am going to applogize to you on behalf of gynocologists". And then he said "she probably didn't believe you when you told her you had never been sexually active". I am at an age where I almost feel "freakish" that I've never had a partner, so why would I lie about it (I was 30!)?? Yesterday I had it taken out and another put in, in the OR, under general anestetic and that has promted me to write this review. I want to cry to think that she did this to me. I have other medical issues and have had to go through some pretty awful things but this by far takes the cake. She made me feel like a waste of her time. And she insisted that she do a pap while she was "up there" and didn't even entertain the idea that I didn't need one because I have NEVER HAD INTERCOURSE!! And since over 90% of cervical cancer is caused by HPV which is transmitted sexually, there was no need to subject me to that either!! Perhaps if you are pregnant and having a baby or are your typical case, she might be okay, but I found her to be abrupt and condescending (this was my first time seeing a gyno so yeah, maybe the questions I was asking seemed "stupid" but I am far from a stupid person!) and yes INHUMANE. She seemed nice at the original office visit but the fact she did this to me makes me really question her knowlege and her compassion as a dr.

Just had a short phone conversation to get some information and the woman who answered the phone might as well have called me stupid and I clearly wasn't worth her time. I'm sure Dr Golosinski is great, but reception is who you meet first.
