Saw Dr Dupuche late 2019 after having CFS for nearly 3 years . Had a stress ECG and lung function test - both clear. He prescribed me Effexor even though I said I'm not depressed. Went back 7 weeks later (feeling even worse) and he continue on Effexor. I refused saying I have a physical condition not a mental one. Now 2022 I finally read his report to my GP and he states I had a "dejected" appearance. All I say is I have lived with CFS for 6 years (although the crashes are shorter duration) and he did not help me. Chronic fatigue specialists are hard to find and I was disillusioned for a long time. It wasn't until 2021 I finally sought a diagnosis and real treatment from Dr Michael Oldmeadow. Dr Dupuche is old-school and doesn't listen. Luckily I have a lovely GP who doesn't think I'm crazy. My friend wrote this for me.

Dr Dupuche has been my physician for some 37+ yrs, his management at a level second to none, of my multiple morbidities & chronic, severe pain. He makes time to listen, before giving his carefully considered opinion. He does not hesitate to refer on for second & third opinions where deemed necessary. He would be my first choice for family or anyone else needing the most expert medical management, but delivered with compassion and empathy on a scale not seen as often today.. I could not more highly recommend this gentleman physician.

My partner saw him for a review and we just read the report and I am disgusted by his report,
He doesnt take things in to consideration,
He said my partner can return to work when clearly he can't,
Lack of knowledge, poor communication , and lack of empathy,

Dr. Dupuche maybe a doctor but really Has no idea about surgical procedures, rehabilitation and exercise physiology. Over the past few years, I have become very weary about taking almost arrogant advice from doctors who they themselves are obviously in poor physical health because they do not practice a healthy lifestyle. As a extremely active person I found Dr.Dupuche’s medical knowledge around creating healthy lifestyles less than average.

I was seeing Dr Dupuche for 6 months. Felt he dismissed most of my concerns and that my care was part of a production line. Very little compassion or sincerity. He doesn't keep any computer records either and doesn't keep good track of previous care.

A wonderful Dr I have been seeing him for seventeen years I have a rare condition his knowledge has been invaluable and his care unbelievable.
