Dr. Levine who is ENT advertised himself also as thyroid specialist so I went to him for thyroid biopsy. Dr Levine never washed his hands or wore gloves, did not use any anesthetic. Told me that will stub me with 4 needles, but had hard time getting sample so used the 5th. He was doing ultrasound with one hand and biopsy with another. After the procedure I had hard time breathing and considered going to ER. Severe pain and difficulty with swallowing lasted 5 days. After 1 week I was required to go back for results. Test was INCONCLUSIVE!! meaning samples were not good and I needed 2nd biopsy. I was charged $140 just to hear that, not to mention other co-pays for the procedure and lab fees. For my 2nd biopsy I found Dr. Schlosser in Suffern. Procedure was done in very clean office. Doctor used ice to numb my neck. One person was doing ultrasound, doctor got the samples, third person processes samples. Pain was minimal, 3 needles instead 5!!! 3 days later doctor called with results.

Staff screwed up my appointment and I had to wait an hour and a half in the waiting room. He examined me and requested a bunch of tests but did not communicate what he was thinking or what the purpose of the tests were
