Fast: In her new office recently I was taken back to the exam room and was seen by Dr. Mayfield before I could even complete my paperwork. She always answers all my questions on my list without seeming to rush me. She has been my doctor for many years now and hope I never have to change.

Her nurse is not compassionate at all. I was very sick and she was supposed to return my phone call-it took her 3days!!! Her excuse was she tried, but phone # she dialed didn't goe through. She could've looked in my file one number you have to dial the area code and the other was local. She tried to call 1 time. She was neglectful, rude, unprofessional, not compassionate, never smiled. When I said why didn't you try the other phone number, she got defensive, and from then on I was rushed when seen by the Dr. They need to get rid of her!!!!

Our experience with Dr Mayfield was not as good as the previous patients. We felt we had to talk at a very rapid pace because she did not spend enough time with us. She has a great smile but not enough time.

Dr. Mayfield is a very compassionate physician and extremely knowledgeable about fibromyalgia. She takes the time to actually listen to you. I have driven a very long distance to see her to get trigger point shots for fibro which, even though temporary, provide much needed pain relief. She keeps up-to-date on new medications and treatments for this syndrome. It is unfortunate that there are not more physicians like Dr. Mayfield.
