I found Dr Foti very knowledgeable and quite pleasant. He was efficient and focused while seeking the info he needed from me, but was thoughtful and unhurried in answering my questions and explaining his opinion. I have to wonder if one disgruntled person is writing most of the negative reviews of dr. Foti on this site, as they tend to all have the same bitter tone, bad grammar and illogical expectations. It isn’t a neurologist’s job to hold your hand or listen passively while you ramble on about your feelings, nor should he rubber stamp a WCB claim based on your diagnosis of yourself. You should want your specialist to be objective, focus on what is relevant, and state his opinion in a clear, unflinching way. Dr Foti does all of that.

Terrible doctor. Condescending and very rude. My husband has (occasional) seizures and has had for over 15 years) and was referred to him. He didn't care to know the frequency or background of his seizures that started in adulthood. He only cared to push for drugs (the newest, most expensive ones). My husband has very infrequent seizures and nothing was showing on the PET scan on his brain, but he still wanted to drug him up. On a follow up appointment, I cancelled when my husband was sick and he shouted at me that it was why he needed to take the medications. I was shocked at the rudeness of this doctor. When my husband said he didn't want to take the medication that came with horrific side effects, Dr Foti said he could not help him. Good riddance, he wasn't helping anyway.

in my late 70, and the most ignorant doctor I have ever come across. Embarrasment to the profession . Avoid him if you can.

Saw this doctor on Friday,found him to lack personality.My husband was the patient who he all most completey ignored
Just brushed aside my husband and spoke to me as if he was not there.

I was not very happy with his attitude but came away thinking may be its just me but after the reviews I think not.
Will not see him again will request some body else.

Awful. This doctor is in the wrong line of work.
Sad this man is practicing as I was so upset after my visit. No time for me before OR after even when called to give me MRI results which I had several questions about.

Dr. Foti was interested in only his assessment. He dismissed questions and patient history. No bedside manner. No warmth or compassion. If we never have to deal with him again, it will be too soon. Arrogant, cold, and clinical.

Very professional and has been an excellent Doctor for my husband who has been diagnosed wit CBD. Dr Foti is respectful and caring and even answered my email when I was in an anxious state regarding my husbands health Supportive to both of us and thorough.
