I feel like my Scott Gilliogly fail to provide the expect care that is required to help me to recover from Upper Quad Rupture Patella. He showed little care to correct a previous surgery for the same injury. He knew what to do but was neglient to provide the Transplant that was needed. Sad to say the referral I received was not true this Doctor did not fix or care to fix other Orthopedics Doctors mistakes or terrible surgeries. He says that the Thrasher and the Falcons were his clients. Someone must have been not interested in the well being of the those athletes after injuries. Fail by not only the Orthopedic but the Lawyer that informed me about his expertise in taking care of patients like myself.

Dr. Gillogly does not take his clients seriously. He does what he wants when he is operating on you, even if he doesn't discuss it with you

Dr. Gillogly is awesome. His expertise in surgical knee repairs is comforting. He always has the patient's best interests in mind, a willingness to consider what is best for each individual patient scenario . Dr. "G" is not a cookie cutter surgeon. He is a compassionate professional in his field of Orthopaedics.

Dr. Gillogy, What can I say? My son had an ankle sprain about for 6 weeks ago and over the Christmas break and I ignored it thinking would get better on its own, needless to say we wanted a doctors an opinion at the last minute, our son had to catch a flight to school the same afternoon. The staff was great and worked us in with enough time to make our flight. Dr. Gillogly was great, x-rayed his ankle for any damage/tears, took his time and was very helpful , educated us on ankle sprains and assured us this was a common injury sports (basketball), my son would be fine with a few ankle exercises and a ankles brace. Thanks Dr. Gillogly……...

In 2008, I had a rotator cuff repair by Dr Kremchek (Cincinnati Reds doctor) which failed. I flew down to Dr Gillogly and had a revision which worked out 100% (Dr Gillogly stated he had to use 4 anchors vs the original dr's one anchor). Recently, I had the other shoulder rotator cuff repair done by Dr Gillogly as well as I did not want to take a chance with a different doctor. I was pain free in under 8 weeks with the latest surgery. My brother went to the NY Giants doctor (Russ Warren) at the hospital for special surgery for a hamstring tendon problem he suffered from for years. The doctor there prescribed stretches which did not work. After I advised my brother, he saw Dr Gillogly in Atlanta and Dr Gillogly performed a release of the tendon sheath around the hamstring tendon and my brother was pain free in less than 6 weeks (for the first time in years). Hope this review helps. My experiences have been very positive with Dr Gillogly.

Horrible experience. Office manager very rude. Dr. was nice but his surgery didnt fix problem, now have to get redone by another doctor. They told me my insurance was accepted but then they didnt. Be careful with their billing. You will end up paying for that nice office. Believe me!

This doctor spent more time telling me how important he was than listening to my problem. He was not only wrong about my condition but wanted me to pay cash for a surgery I didn't need. I saw another doctor who correctly diagnosed me BY LISTENING and EXAMINING ME (two things Dr. Gillogly didn't do!). After a short arthroscopic surgery I completed an Olympic triathlon without pain. STAY AWAY!!!!!!

I fill compelled to give this man rave reviews for his services. I fill that i can effectively comment on them seeing that I within the last 6 months experienced the same procedure. Dr. Gillogy was very thorough and should an exceptional beside manner. From the initial examination to the care post-surgery this man was top notch! Same surgery 6 months ago and i went home in so much pain and could have literally DIED!!! Now, I am lounging around playing games with my son and his friend from across the street! His confidence in his ability is very comforting and was supported by his actions throughout my experience. The process that i was taken through made me feel like I was slighted be my previous care takers... (perimeter Oth) in the St josephs area... Nevertheless, I will be recommending to all that would benefit from his service! A+++

Dr. Gillogly is awesome! I have had 5 knee surgeries and he has done 2 of them. My knee was a complete disaster. He did a great job on informing me about everything and he did an awesome job in rebuilding my knee!I would deffinately recomend him. And the therapists there are great also!

Dr. Rooney, a PA under Dr. Gillogly, scheduled an MRI on my left shoulder. I had the MRI and began contacting Atlanta Sports Medicine for my results. I was informed that Dr. Rooney was no longer with ASM. I asked to speak with another physician who could provide my results, and was directed to Nicki, the office manager for ASM. It has been over two weeks and I have left multiple messages, to no avail. The complete lack of customer service and the non-existent response I have received from this organization is awe-inspring to say the least. I would not recommend anyone needing orthopedic care to refer to Atlanta Sports Medicine. Unless you are by chance an Atlanta Falcon or Atlanta Thrasher, then I would assume your treatment would be drastically different than my experience.
