My wife went to Dr Art for 6 months for anxiety/burnout. She is a mom with 4 kids (and a wife) and she is back to her old self again after working with him for 6 months. I can't thank Dr Art enough and I hope that anyone with anxiety would consider giving him a shot. Thanks Dr. Art.

Dr. Rathgeber is pleasant enough but is otherwise ineffectual. He doesn't listen well except to find a pause where he can interject something often unrelated to the point being presented. He is intuitively weak and prone to overlook or dismiss relevant information. He did not appear to have much background in the issues with which I was struggling and paid little attention to my efforts to help him better understand me/and or the issues in order to be able to provide the support I actually needed. At the end of the day he sometimes did more harm. I cannot in good conscience recommend him at all.

Art had an easy-going personality until I had to end therapy due to finances. Art also seemed affronted when I mentioned that I was receiving additional help. A little bit of a God complex or a pouty little boy? He also spoke quite openly about one of his other "favorite" patients' problems and while not mentioning names I found his remarks tipping into confidentiality.

I worked with Art on a variety of issues including grieving, depression, trauma and transference. I would call Art an expert in A. T. Beck brand of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and several related areas. I found Art highly skilled in the relevant areas, but less able to tackle transference, owing largely to the epistemological limits of CBT and his own outlooks on client/therapist interactions. If it weren't for these limitations, Art would be omnipotent, which is not realistically, humanly possible (ha ha ha). If you suffer from depression, see Art. He is very helpful!
