I had my gastric bypass surgery with him 5 days ago. Aside from minor bloating, the pain is manageable and I don’t need pain killers anymore. Fingers crossed for a speedy recovery.. thanks Dr Nguyen!

I had laparoscopic sigmoid colon resection , end to end anastomosis done by Dr. Nguyen and his team last week and I am healing and recovering well. I am so blessed to have him as my surgeon. Dr. Nguyen performed a double mastectomy on me after a breast cancer diagnosis and did an excellent job. I’m recovering nicely. He is knowledgeable, friendly and has a great sense of humour. We are very lucky to have him at Richmond hospital. Thank you Dr. Nguyen and team!

I'm no surgeon, I don't know the right terminology to describe what exactly I had, but when I was born, I was very premature and was not expected to survive. It was in the middle of the night when he was unexpectedly called in Long Beach Memorial Hospital. He saved my life. I am now a teenager and still have the scars from my birth. I will always be grateful. I also always thought it would be cool to meet him in person, but I don't now how I would do that.

His bedside manner was appalling on my first visit! He was arrogant and a bully and instilled no confidence in me at all! His receptionist was just as arrogant. Am seeking a second opinion!

Dr Nguyen did my bariatric, impacted bowel and hernias surgeries. I worked with him for over 3 years. He was ALWAYS pleasant, understanding and very knowledgeable. His bedside manner is examplary. I was rushed to emergency and sat there waiting for 6 hours, turns out I was having a heart attack and had an impacted bowel. My husband called him, he dropped everything and raced over to the hospital and operated immediately. He checked in and looked after me. I trust him wholeheartedly and reccomend his work.
