Dr. Mullen literally saved my life. He performed a difficult double bypass and double valve repair when I was close to going into congestive heart failure. He explained the entire procedure to me and followed up the day after my surgery as well as a month later in his office. I was back to skiing 3 months after the surgery. He is a gifted surgeon.

Dr. Mullen assured me before my surgery that I am in great hands. He replaced my mitral valve 3 years ago with an open heart surgery. The best Surgeon!! I can't thank him enough for saving my life and his medical team!

solve my life twice Dec 2017 massive heart attack put me on bypass for 10 days then installed lvad and again in Nov 2019 done my heart transplant. Very professional don't remember the much about bypass but was very happy and relaxed when I got him for Lvad and again for heart transplant . Thank you Mr. Mullen.

Dr. Mullen -- Yes a surgeon with few words -- but his quiet professional approach inspires confidence and prior to my surgery came and to speak with myself and spent a few minutes with my 2 daughters who were far more distressed with my impending procedure. He took their cell phone number and contacted them when I was out of surgery. Age 60 triple by-pass and mitral valve repair – i think any other surgeon would just had replaced– I cannot thank him and his team enough for what they provided for me – another 20 years.

of the 3 surgical procedures --
abdominal surgery ( car accident severe internal bleeding ) and chest surgery to remove a tumour from the wall of my lung I can fully suggest the quality of care of Dr. Mullin and his surgical team was recognized and greatly appreciated. He visited me a couple of times after the surgery but his team was on the floor daily following up on my recovery and due to a requirement to return they immediately implemented measures to further assist in my recovery. Of the 3 surgical procedures I can say without reservation the care of Dr. Mullen’s team and the nurses of the Mazankowski Institute are unsurpassed.
