Dr. Cocores has helped me overcome obstacles in life that, at that time, didn't deem possible. He is not only knowledgeable in numerous aspects, he is the only doctor I've met that what can tie nutrition, certain exercises, etc. into his diagnosis. What other doctor can you say does that? Not only that, the prob Ono work he does bc his patients are in a really hard place is miraculous. Bottom line, he CARES. He's the only person I would trust and it would be a detriment to society to lose this man .... In life and as a doctor. He's saved so me many people, statistically can be proven. He's detoxes more ppl than not. God granted us an angel when they made this man.

James Cocores, M.D., is the most magnificent doctor I've ever had, & I come from a family of doctors. His brain expertise & remarkable skill in diagnosing patients' conditions & uncanny ability to discern exactly how to remedy any problem(s) presented, is truly phenomenal. His supreme talent makes him one of the best in his field, an ideal physician who never gives up on his patients - an absolute rarity. Dr. Cocores is a published author of many articles & books, one of which, "BrightFoods," is a most enlightening source on the importance of nutrition & its connection to the mind, body, & soul. "BrightFoods" can save lives & is one of the doctor's greatest contributions to humanity. Dr. Cocores exhibits great eagerness to share his vast knowledge with his patients, and his natural warmth & compassion are some of his most endearing qualities. James Cocores is truly a blessing to the human race, & I cannot recommend him highly enough. Most sincerely, Dr. Jim Ferretti's Niece

Dr. Cocores is a 'changed man' since moving in to his new suite of offices. Gone are the days of dealing with inept receptionists who treated clients with little/no respect, and who @ times had their own agendas, and not the physicians...Dr. C is the 'consumate professional' in every sense. He treats his clients with care, concern, and confidentiality. No, he does not have patience when it comes to dealing with clients who just 'show up', or arrive 40 minutes late to an appt. - what physician does? Dr. Cocores is able to 'tie in' nutrition and exercise (among other things) to any medication regime he prescribes... I feel he takes the 'whole' of the client in to account, and not just the pharmacology aspect.

RECENTLY, DR. COCORES STARTED HIS OWN PRACTICE. I HAD LEFT 2 MSGS TO SET UP MY NEXT APPT. AND NEVER GOT A CALL BACK. I JUST HAPPENED TO BE IN THE AREA AND STOPPED BY HIS NEW OFFICE AND COULD ONLY LEAVE A MSG. LATER THAT EVENING HE CALLED ME BACK AND ACCUSED ME OF DR SHOPPING AND THAT HE COULD NOT TREAT ME ANYMORE. I WAS IN A FULL BLOWN PANIC ATTACK, I CALLED MY LAWYER AND MY DENTIST SINCE HE WAS THE ONLY OTHER DR PRESCRIBING ME MEDICINE. THEY TOLD ME NOT TO WORRY ABOUT IT. I CALLED COCORES BACK TO TELL HIM I DIDNT UNDERSTAND AND HE WAS WRONG. LONG STORY SHORT I WENT TO SEE A NEW SHRINK, AND SHE EVEN CALLED WALGREENS FOR ME B/C COCORES SAID THEY NOTIFIED HIM OF DOUBLE RX'S BEING FILLED, AND THAT WAS NOT THE CASE. HE JUST SIMPLY COULDNT TELL ME HE DIDN'T WANT TO TREAT ME ANYMORE, HE MADE UP A HUGE LIE, AND CAUSED ME TO HAVE A MAJOR PANIC ATTACK. DO NOT GO TO THIS SOB, HE WILL F YOU IN THE END.

I'm a 45y/o male seeing Dr Cocores for 4 years. He has helped me a lot.The lady scheduling the appts is friendly and courteous.Last week I had a situation in which my wife came to the appt and she was impresses by the Dr's patience, knowledge and ability to assess the problem and provide the proper dx.As far as people having problems with their medications if I don't know about a med I ask questions or look on the internet to learn as much as I can about what I'm putting in my body. The Dr has certain responsibilities to the patient but I as the patient have a responsibility to be as honest as possible and take my medications as prescribed. If after a period of time I feel the medication is having a negative effect to my body or I feel I'm having dependence issues it is up to me to address these issues with the doctor.Dr Cocores has always treated me with respect and I feel I can be completely honest with him.I really like the doctor/patient relationship I have with Dr Cocores.

This is not only to all the people writing BS positive comments about this man but to the Doctor himself. He is a scam. Forget your insurance problems and other petty problems. This man kills young adults. I met him 4 almost 5 years ago. I went thru a bad break up and was experiencing bad anxiety. Not panic attacks just anxiety. During his 15 min session, how much "healing" can u accomplish in a 15 min session, he prescribed me 120 xanax a month. Thats 4 a day and 1 if needed at bed time. He has also prescribed the drug roxy's to numerous amounts of college students. Ones funeral i recently attended. I am addicted to this medication because this "doctor" said it was whats best for me. I started to slow down a lot with work. He then asked me if i wanted an adderall script. I never knew what they were. I was prescibed 60 a month of 30 mgs. Without being tested for any form of ADD or ADHD or anything that would require this. I was just tested and turns out i dont need this. So for 2 year

I am a 44 year old male who has suffered with PTSD,panic attacks and mild agoraphobia since childhood.I have seen psychiatrist's for 23 years. I have been a patient of Dr. Cocores for 1 1/2 years and he is by far the most knowledgeable doctor I have been to. He always takes time for me and a few times gives me more than my allotted time. I trust his judgment on medications completely and value his opinions. I know everyone has rights to their opinions but I have no idea where these negative comments are coming from.I am originally from way up in the mountains of the Carolinas where trust of people, especially doctors has to be earned (and doesn't come easily)and I can say I trust Dr Cocores completely because of the care and respect he has extended to me.If you are looking for a great physician then give Dr. Cocores a try.P.S. I was not asked by anyone to write a good review these are my opinions and mine only. Have a great day! Greg

Dr. Cocores is an excellent psychiatrist and physician. I saw him after my husband's sudden death and he helped me a great deal. He was very compassionate, knowledgeable and helpful. His staff is courteous, it is very easy to get an appointment quickly. I have even been able to get an appointment the same day. The Director of the facility is a real sweetheart as well. I would still be seeing Dr. Cocores if I had not moved out of Florida. I found him to be a very caring, compassionate and extremely knowledgeable doctor.
