Had a horrible experience with this doctor. Heard he has recently retired?

This Doctor was assigned to me as my initial Radiation Oncologist had retired.
I found Dr. Craighead to be arrogant and pompous!
He was naturally late and I waited and waited, then the Radiation Tech came and got me for my radiation appointment. Had the 1/2 hour appt and sat and waited a while longer for "His Highness"
Poor bedside manner when he did make an appearance. No manners or apology!
Looked at my 2nd degree radiation burns and dismissed them as :"I have seen much worse!"
Just what a Stage 3B IBC patient who had been through 6 months of intense Chemo, a 13 hour surgery, 3 weeks in the hospital and now 3 1/2 months, everyday of Radiation wants to hear!
Perhaps he has become cold and callus in order to cope with what he does for a job. I am not or will not make excuses for this insensitive, cold jack***.
Never would I go back to see him and would not recommend him to anyone for anything!

Dr.Craighead helped me in so many aspects through this daunting journey, I felt cared about by his whole team, I felt confident through the whole thing, I had complicated paperwork to do with my work situation and it was dealt with very quicly through his office, I woud like to take the opportunity to recommend this doctor

I feel blesses to have been assigned to Peter Craighead and his team, he is compassionate and caring, I had many questions about my prognosis and treatment, and I felt support through every step of my treatment, at no point did I feel alone.

I'm a woman and felt very respected by this polite, knowledgeable man who seriously cares and really gets things done. I feel very fortunate he is in my corner. He does what he says he's going to do and does not sugar coat. Thank you so much!!!!

Excellent doctor and excellent staff. Knowledgeable, informative, friendly, supportive, sensitive and compassionate. I was never rushed through appointments, questions were encouraged and answered.
I feel very fortunate he was an important part of my team.

Excellent in all aspects, I feel I have had the most competent and well informed Oncologists throughout my treatment. Dr. Craighead is a very respectful person who showed interest and sensitivity, was informative and answered all questions. I received a top level of care and am very pleased.

I met with Dr Craighead this past week to discuss my cancer diagnosis a how to move forward with treatment.Dr Craighead was truthful, did not beat round the bush about anything, explained fully the side effects that could possibly occur and the percentage of the ability to kill the cancer from what he has seen with his experiences & intelligence. Moving forward I trust him totally to do whatever is humanly possible to rid my body of this nasty killer! I suggest to anyone doing the same to come with written questions & bring a friend or family member who can take notes during your consult, as you will not remember everything you have been told. Dr Craighead took my list and answered every question I had written down and with honesty. I have seen a number of Drs over the last 10 years and this man is #1

Wow, can't quite believe that last comment. I have been seeing this doctor for over 2 years and have never found him to be anything but helpful,caring, honest, knowledgeable and receptive to my( sometimes strong)opinions and concerns. He is a most kind gentleman and if this is sexist, bring it on.
