She retired in June 2022. She was a good Rheumatologist for our community, and I for one am sorry that she retired but it happens even to the best Docs. when they hit a certain age. I hope she has less stress now. It was clear her staff was having some stress (covid?).

Dr. Flanagan is a calm, pleasant and extremely knowledgeable physician. Staff not as friendly.

Thank you Dr Flannagan.
You are the best. I visited so many doctors before I met you. You care for and about me has kept me going for the last 15 years and hopefully many more.

Very difficult to ever get through to reception ,when you do, they are so rude and are very belittling. I would not recommend this office to anyone. Not a comfortable environment at all.

She was more interested in what she knew and her knowledge rather than listening to my symptoms .I know my body and it doesn't"t nicely fit in her parameters so she gave me bad advice and was no help at all. Also I have met doors who have a better personality ad bedside manner. I would never recommend her and have told all my other Dr.s that she is not helpful!!

All she did was stare at the computer, and ask "Does it hurt when you did this. on a scale of 1-10? didn't even LOOK at my body or touch it. Told me from that alone that I probably have Anklysoing spondilitus and that I need to start on the "Big Guns" of medication right away....and then when I couldn't afford the pills she wanted to she said I didn't want to get better, and canceled my follow up appointments. Terrible.

I have found Dr. Flanagan to be very helpful and supportive. She teaches me "tips" to work around my pain and disability. Can't write because my thumb is riddled with arthritis and it hurts to press... try a thick pen. It helped. Can't stand too long without lower back pain...place feet one in front of the other to relieve the strain...it worked. She always monitors the aches and pains that I am accustomed to experiencing and immediately takes decisive action on new issues. She monitors my blood monthly, has got me in orthotics, referred me to a neurosurgeon, requisitioned CT scans, Xrays, bone density, as needed. AND she will even make a phone call appointment to review the results and come up with a treatment plan. This saves me the 1 hr drive in each direction. I look forward to seeing her as I trust her and know she is looking after me. If I need an appointment between scheduled visits, all I have to do is call.
