I went septic after a bowel resection. After a week still in hospital I needed an NG tube to stop the vomiting, after a CT Scan could not show clear images - I was taken back in for exploratory surgery. Woke up with an o stony and 2 drainage pouches. My incision was left open to heal from the inside out.if my family had not pushed for him to do something - I think I would have died. I requested another surgeon for my osteomyelitis reversal - everything went great!

Far as I'm concerned he's the reason I don't have my wife any longer.if this is a different Chris Jamieson I'm sorry. The one I mean did a scope on my wife and that is what I believe cost her her life, when a patient ask you to stop because the pain is so bad and you don't then the bowel get punctured causing poison to go through your body.

Dr Jamieson and his great Team Removed my Colon and Gal Blatter and Several Nymp Glands 67 I think. I had cancer on both ends of my colon and he removed it all and left me with a usable connection to my segma and behind.I never had any treatments of any kind and that was over 10 years ago .I was in the hospital for 21 days and almost threw in the towel several times, but that Doctor kept me knowing i would get threw it. Louise his secretary is so good to work with she performs miracles to make things work out for the patient,my family thanks Dr Jamieson and his wonderful Team and Louise for getting me through that rough time in my life.If not for these people and Dr Jamieson I would not be writing this I would be DEAD !!! That is a Fact. Thank God for people like Him and his great team he is a God Send from Heaven, to be able to do what he does on a regular basis.Thanks Dr Jamieson from the Slaunwhite Family in Terence Bay.

Dr. Jamieson and his nurse were the "poster team" for how a colonoscopy should go. I had the procedure for the first time last week, and made the decision to do so without sedation. They both answered all my questions, supported me through the whole procedure, told me what to expect and when, and did everything to make it go smoothly. I watched the entire thing. While not without discomfort, it was the way I will do it again when the time comes – provided I can have this same team. My sister had the exact opposite experience with a different team a few years ago. She was handled roughly, she was not "coached" through the experience, and had a lot of pain. I was very lucky to have had Dr. Jamieson.

I cannot say enough about Dr. Jamieson. Without him and his latest research/techniques, I would have had an ostomy for the rest of my life as a result of colorectal cancer. Instead, I had a short term ileostomy and a very successful return to 'normal' life, post-cancer. His knowledge, his team of excellent residents, his caring and compassion, and his expertise both saved my life and retained an excellent qualify of life. As for his Assistant, Louise, she, too, is incredibly knowledgeable, very helpful, and calming when things are stressful and fear of the unknown has taken hold. They make a fabulous team and if anyone has any similar medical issues, I always refer them to Dr. Jamieson and Louise. When he ultimately retires, the HRM will have lost an incredibly excellent medical resource.

I cannot thank Dr. Jamison enough for what he has done for myself and family. Not only did he save my life through 3 seperate surgeries, but he took the time to explain my surgeries with my husband and parents. Although they were still scared of the outcomes, my family had a much better understanding of the procedures and recovery. Dr. Jamison gave me the confidence to get through my Ulcerative Colitis. Thanks so much to Louise as well, she always made you feel important with every phone call we made and received. You are one of a kind, I hope you know how much you are appreciated.

Dr. Jamieson talked me through a panic attack on the day of my scope. Was totally professional and caring and promptly returned my phonecall. A very kind and knowledgable doctor. I thank my lucky stars that I was referred to him. Lousie is also very helpful and runs a highly organized and efficient office. This is how healthcare should work.

Dr. J has performed 4 surgeries on me as well as many, many minor procedures. I work in the healthcare system, with many qualified physicians but will always return to him for any of my needs...no matter how big or small. He has always been EXTREMELY caring, supportive, knowledgeable and straight forward. He does not sugarcoat things, but tells them "how it is", but when you're dealing with your health would you really want it any other way?! For those who says he doesn't explain things well, just ask him and he'll keep trying until you do understand. Louise is fantastic and is always ready to listen and work out scheduling for your appointments. In my opinion this is the best team out there and I am truely blessed to be taken care of by them =)
