I had a heart attack in early 2008 and was transported to a hospital not of my choosing (its name starts with "Dam") in Stockton, CA. The place was a nightmare, my surgeon thought very highly of himself, he was a real premadonna! They killed me on the table, paddles nowhere near-by . I received a clenched fist to the sternum which revived me breaking some ribs in the process. The Surgeon botched my stent placement and six months later I had a series of heart attacks due to blockage in the stent as a result of its protrusion into the branching of the LAD. Eating nitro like candy, I had my Wife deliver me to Mercy General in Sacramento where Dr. Slachman was on staff. The damage caused by the stenting required a double by-pass but I ended up with a triple due to a nearly blocked artery discovered on the right side of my heart which was missed by the premadonna in Stockton. I'm now a 61 years young man thanks to Doctor Slachman and his team!

Thank you Frank!! I'll say hello to Rex for you.

Many thanks to your partner Walt Marquardt for all his years as my Cardiologist . . . Bob

I had open hear surgery with Dr. Slackman in March 2014 at Merci General Hospital in Sacramento, Ca. He is a fantastic doctor and a wonderful surgeon. I had 2 valves changed and repaired and the maze procedure done. It was really helpful and I recommend this surgeon highly. My name is Ali Moftakhar, born on 06/09/1944.
