Dr. Boyd is a wonderful doctor. He and his team saved my life. I had to have a double bi-pass and truly was at deaths door. He was kind, caring, and honest. He gives you the truth, good & bad. He takes time to actually listen to you and will answer your questions. I highly recommend Dr. Boyd, I truly cannot say enough good things about this doctor, only that they do not make many like him anymore. Wonderful doctor and great man. Judy Shute

I had a ruptured ascending aorta and this skilled surgeon saved my life… I had an excellent outcome and am back working and enjoying my family. Dr Boyd has a great bedside manner and you can tell he truly cares for his patients .

Dr. Boyd is a wonderful person and an amazing doctor,who was my brother's Surgeon, he made it a breeze for my little brother and for my family, he explained everything to all of us throughout the whole process and made us feel comfortable during the whole process, I actually told him that he would be my recommendation to anyone that I know that need his service, he made it whole process seem like we were a part of his family, I am truly thankful for him. Maybe we will invite him to our Christmas Dinner!! We feel just that close to him, he is truly the best!!

Dr Boyd is a phenomenal Doctor!!! Just a little background information; In November of 2022 my brother had a heart attack, it was discovered approximately a month later that he had a 90% blockage in his heart, that’s when Dr. Boyd was called in. Dr Boyd Assess the situation and inform us that he would have to do a heart bypass surgery. We were all frightened but Dr Boyd was so informative, patient and Professional that we had all the confidence in the world that the surgery would go well….and it did!!! Dr Boyd Perform the best ever bioptic heart by-pass surgery, it’s only been 3 weeks my brother is enjoying his usual activities and doing wonderfully . I pray that no one ever has to go Thur this but if you do….please do yourself a lifesaving choice and ask for Dr. Walter D. Boyd….Thank you so much Dr. Boyd my family is forever grateful!!!

Great doc, great team. He replaced my aortic valve and repaired two other valves and did a coronary bypass! I was out of hospital in only 5 days and feeling great. Many thanks to this gifted, compassionate surgeon!!

Dr. Boyd performed robotic bypass on my father earlier this year. My father has never been better! He was out of surgery in only 3 days with very little pain. He was back golfing two weeks later. Dr, Boyd took the time to answer all our questions and made us feel very comfortable and confident. He is an excellent surgeon, and it was worth travelling to UC Davis to have him do my dads surgery.

When I needed heart surgery a physician friend of mine recommended I go to an academic center and seek the best. After doing my research I came across Dr. Boyd. I was actually surprised at the amount of time he spent with my wife, son and I going over my case and answering all the questions we had about my condition. He has an excellent bedside manner, and is recognized as a world expert in robotic heart surgery. Even though my case was complex, he was thorough in preparing me and getting all the tests I needed before surgery. I had a remarkable recovery and have never felt better!!! My friend was right, other doctors send their relatives and friends to him which says a lot.
