After meeting a good Doctor I realized how terrible Dr. Jacqueline Matsyk is. If you're a man, she is notorious for busting your balls and destroying your confidence. She is not a person who takes care of her own health. How is she going to take care of yours. This women is awful!!

Garbage. This Doctor is terrible. Not knowledgeable. Is not helpful in any way. Always late for appointments. Find another Doctor.

Knowledge is outdated and she keeps pushing her crappy meds with side effects even after hospital doctor gave me better ones. Overly focused on whether a person showered. We need serious help but this doctor will end session in half an hour and in that half
Hour she will ramble on with nonsense .

I see alot of reviews that sounds like it was written by the same person. We did not find this doctor to be good and we are looking for another doctor. She is kind but her knowledge is poor. She focuses overly on hygiene and whether you took a shower. Dr. Matsyk is a psychiatrist at the Grandview Woodlands mental health team. Her knowledge of drugs especially seems lacking indepth. Look elsewhere if you need a good psychiatrist who really knows the drug side effects .

If this is the Dr Matsyk who also works at the Grandview/Woodlands Mental Health Team, I have found her to be an excellent, caring, professional who has been my ROCK at a time when I was pretty desperate to find purchase anywhere. And she’s always been incredibly respectful doing it.

I can see why some people don't "get" Dr. Matsyk. She has clear boundaries and operates within them, communicates them to you and expects you to follow them. Be on time, be prepared, and follow instructions. Once I figured that out, I was fine with her more structured approach to dealing with me/patients.

She brings latest science to inform her opinion and wants you to be seen by specialists rather than to diagnose without full information. She doesn't push medications as a first line of defense and has said "no" to some of my suggestions along the way because the science didn't indicate efficacy. I trust her, and am sorry I had to leave her practice due to moving out of the area.

I see a bunch of fake positive reviews on here for this fake psychologist that gets off on controlling & ruining innocent peoples lives. For years there was only verry negative reviews on here even from other health care workers! Matsyk should not be allowed to practice anything anywhere within the medical community & is absolutely nothing worthy of being considered a "professional" unless it's professional fraud.

Goodness gracious, what a bunch of crybabies!!!
Dr. Jackie is a GP. That makes her a gatekeeper to the medical system.
Sort of like an air traffic controller.
Don't try to land at YVR if you need to land at YYC.
Dr. Jackie has her boundaries in place and will not be practiced upon.
Show up on time, have your issues ready to be discussed and follow up with your treatment plan.
Dr. Jackie is one smart cookie and she will make sure that you will get what you need out of the system.
I have 5 specialists on my medical team, cardiologist, neurologist, dermatologist, urologist, physiatrist.
Yah, it takes time to get in to see theses doctors but you have to plan ahead when dealing with the system.
Get your ducks in a row.
Dr. Jackie will help you do this!☺️
And yes...Dr. Jackie is always in time!!!!!!!!
