Just a warning - he is up for review with the CA Med Board. There was a death involved - but still under review.

Please get a second opinion! I was talked into 3 surgeries of the Cervical spine I'm now disabled as a result and lost my job of 21 years. With each surgery I was told another would be needed - each with a worsening outcome. I really don't know what he did - my MRI's of all 3 surgeries were recently reviewed by another Neurosurgeon and I was told the first 2 surgeries on my herniated disc had not been repaired - the disc bulge was the same as pre-surgery! and a 2nd level that was added was in no need of surgery. The 3rd surgery left me partially paralyzed. He even fell asleep during my post surgery appointment that I waited hours for. He claims this surgery is cheaper -it is not and they didn't check to see if my insurance covered it - it didn't. I lost the car accident claim because they proved it was this surgeon who did the disabling damage.

patients had to wait hours in the waiting room just to be seen for ten minutes. not sure if a result of overbooking patients/scheduling issue? Not sure of invasive procedure success as at that time not enough long term results were known (2001) had microdisectomy C5/C6 ...surgery fanot a good outcome in my case ...disc collapsed post surgery
