Thinking of Dr. Chiu...I am 99.9 % pain free, 17 hrs. back surgery 25 years ago. I am 75 now still doing my exercises and stretchs. I watch what I do, but I can do all my yard work, which includes 1 1/2 acres of oaks and take hikes up Morro Rock in the Sierras. Thank You Dr.Chiu & Staff. Paul Menezes Sr

It has been almost 21 years since my 15 hr surgery by Dr. Chiu (excellent) 99.9999 % pain free since that day...I could tell the difference the very next day after waking up, and have been that way up to today 9/9/2018 and pray & hope that will stay that way for rest of my life. YES...staff, punctuality...etc, at times chaotic, but like Sonny (one of the staff) took my wife aside and told my wife that it seems chaotic here at times, BUT when it comes to the surgery...you have the best hands (Dr.Chiu ) taking care of your husband ! I truly believe that to this date, and if need it I would go back to Dr. Chiu...TODAY. All the chaos & punctuality never bothered me because I had faith in the end it would turn out like it did. My son-in-law (in pharmaceutical) & I done our home work/research on Dr. Chiu and by far he was the best choice. Paul..... Thank You ! DR. CHIU ...

Dr. Chiu really cares about his patients. The entire staff treats you like an old family friend. I can now stand up straight, and sleep more than 5 hrs. Just an awesome experience.

I had Surgery here, the receptionists have poor attitudes, the doctoral staff seemed good - too good to be working there. Dr. Chiu didn't tell me that there had been complications, I found out the hard way. Post surgical appointments - you will be waiting for hours past your appointment time to be seen.

I had surgery in 2015 over a year ago and I still have pain and numbness down my legs numbness in my toes hard to walk I lost my Job $35000 thousand dollars poorer. I live out of town so I had to go back and forth about at least 6 times had to get a hotel and stayed for about 2 days each time which was costing me money with no results. The last time I went Dr Chiu said I have another doctor you can see in LA, like I have all this money I can spend which the surgery he did I had relief for 2 months. I went and seen a local doctor here in town which looked at my MRI after my surgery and said I don't see any Surgery you have herniated discs I said can't be I had surgery. It's sad you really don't know who to trust these days when it comes to doctors or hostpitals it's like you wait for ever for a 20 minute meeting with no answer.

I had three herniated disks repaired instead of the fusion that other surgeons wanted to do to me. I had all the feeling restored to my numb 6 fingers.

I came to the Spinal center after having been in a car accident; I had herniated and ruptured discs in the lumbar and cervical parts of my spine. The staff is courteous, professional and highly skilled. Treatment at the Spinal Center is comprehensive, all your MRI's and testing are done under one roof. Dr. Chiu is a highly Skilled surgeon using the most current in medical technology. I have had a most rewarding experience at the Spinal Center. I had surgery yesterday and for the first time in one year my leg is not numb....Thank You Dr. Chiu!

Amazing treatment!!!!! I had ruptured and herniated discs both in neck and back. Neck was so bad I couldn't lift my left arm. I am writing this one day after back surgery and 2 days after neck surgery I can now lift my arm in all directions and I have zero pain in my neck and back. I feel like I could walk for miles. The treatment I received was spectacular and all the staff was wonderful. Thank you Dr. Chiu!

Dr. Chiu is the most experienced and talented minimally invasive neurosurgeon on the planet. He operated on my neck (C3, C5, C6) which got severely thrashed in a very violent rear-end collision. I have suffered from significant pain for 15 years, but now after my surgery, I feel much better. I could have never gotten through this situation without Dr. Chiu's medical expertise and moral support.
