My rating is based on my experience with Dr. George when he did the hospital rounds in RMH on Jan. 17, 2023. My dad was confined in the hospital for 2 weeks. Dr.George was the only doctor who took the time to call me on my phone to update me on my dad's condition. I found him to be very knowledgable and answered all my questions. I felt he waa a very kind doctor as well.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. George's service. I was referred to him for an urgently required scope, biopsy and landmark tattooing a malignant tumor seen in a CAT scan. He and his staff were extremely competent and efficient getting me in that very week on a cancellation. He performed the colonoscopy efficiently and painlessly at RMH using local anaesthetic. He showed me the cancerous growth on the color monitor, and identified that my bowel was being obstructed where small intestine meets colon. He referred me immediately to an excellent surgeon.

Dr. George is such a kind, caring, and attentive physician. I didn't think I'd have to ever see a Gastroenterologist at the age of 25, but I had some unexplainable gut issues, and I am very thankful to have been checked out by Dr. George. My colonoscopy went so smoothly. As a medical student, it was so nice having Dr. George and his team of nurses show me what we were looking at during the procedure, and learning about the anatomy in the process. I felt so included! His secretary Louise and all the staff are so efficient and accommodating. If you are looking for a GI, please know that Dr. George and his team will make your experience very pleasant. Thank you for all that you do for your patients, especially with COVID, to keep delivering the utmost quality care for all of us. I appreciate it tons and hope others with GI issues can be comforted and treated by your care!

Delighted with care received by Dr. George. He is kind, considerate and very competent. I was terrified of having a colonoscopy but needed one based on age and a screening test. He and his team made the procedure not only pain free but even interesting! He explained everything during the procedure and I could see it all on the screen. He removed 3 polyps and took two biopsies. All entirely painless. In the pre-scope virtual consultation he had answered all my questions and contributed to ensuring that I never felt any embarrassment. The scope team in Ridge Meadows Hospital were great and also added to the positive nature of the experience. The hospital was spotless and they took excellent care in this covid situation.

have be with Dr George for many years and he is amazing and very compassionate. He looked after my husband when he was doing hosp duties and he made it easier. He always listens.

Dr. George had been my GI for many years and I couldn't ask for a better GI in every way! I ask a lot of questions & Dr George explains everything happily. I had apologized once for all my questions and he stated . 'No don't apologize, I would want everything explained to me also, it's your body and you should know what's going on' I've never had to wait to get into his office once there. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the new answering message.. Leave a message. I know the gals are super busy but I dint like leaving a message.. Wondering if they've listened yet or not. Dr. George is up there with few others on my top rated list. Highly recommended!
