Dr. Sheth is a very busy doctor like most family doctors in Canada. BUT, he gets a lot accomplished in his appointments. He listens carefully to try to figure out what is actually going on with his patients, especially those who have had ongoing, worsening health issues , and been abandoned by other doctors. I feel that he is sincerely interested in helping me, which is, in itself, encouraging, spirit lifting an 'healing'. He expediently sends referral to specialists, and requisitions for all kinds of tests. Getting timely responses from specialists can be very challenging. Dr. Sheth encourages his patients to advocate for themselves and not give up. I wish that Dr. Sheth could be actually present in person in his Orillia office ,' at times '. His patients in this area would greatly appreciate this. The entire staff at Forest Clinic in Orillia is courteous, kind , compassionate, and very helpful. When a patient is ill, injured, frightened, or worried, these qualities are of the utmost importance in their overall health care. Somehow, these important qualities have declined in many doctors' offices, clinics, Emergency Departments, and hospitals . Sadly, it's the patients who suffer in many ways from this unprofessional behaviour. Thank you Dr. Sheth and staff for your ongoing kindnesses . You may never know how much a kind word, careful listening, and compassion have truly helped your patients , just as much as physical medical treatments.

Honestly the best family doctor I've ever had. I wish appointments weren't so rushed so we could get more done, but I get it. With the family doctor shortage, he has a lot of patients and is a very busy man. But he is an absolute gem. He's one of those rare doctors who are actually willing to learn and adapt. He doesn't have that ego that many doctors have. He doesn't treat you like you don't know anything. He clearly knows that you as the patient are the expert on how you feel. It's great that we have the flexibility to do phone appointments. The staff at the Brechin location are also amazing. Anner and Brian are lovely and they're so good with kids in the waiting room.

Dr. Sheth has been trying very hard to help determine the causes of my various , worsening health issues. I never feel as if he is going to give up on me, which I have sadly and devestatingly experienced in the past. This ,in itself, is very encouraging and helpful to all patients. It's called 'offering hope', in addition to the actual, real medical things that he does with great efficiency and speed. He tries very hard to not rush or limit his patients' appointments, realizing that listening to more than one symptom could be very helpful in diagnosing and appropriate treatments. He does Not seem to practise the 'One symptom per visit 'new' rule that many doctors are now strictly 'enforcing'. This rarely benefits the patient at all, rather, the doctor's business. He always accomplishes 'lots' during each appointment...referrals, requisitions ,test result discussions, and prescriptions. But, most of all, he makes me feel that he actually cares about my welfare, and is going to be actively involved in the most productive , possible ways of improving my health. The office manager at the Brechin clinic, Brian, is always very kind and helpful to all the patients. The extra half hour drive to get to the Brechin clinic,from their original Orillia clinic is still very worth it, in many ways, for me. However, I truly hope that they will be able to relocate back to Orillia at some time.

I’ve had many doctors in my lifetime being a diabetic. Dr. Sheth is one of the best!

Dr. Sheth is very efficient with his time during your appt. He is a good listener, which more doctors should try/choose to be; [doctors can learn a lot of important information from their patients]; gets a lot accomplished [ 2 test results, 2 referrals] but MOST of all,makes you feel as if he actually cares about your specific health issues, and is going to DO something to help you. [ referrals, tests, requisitions done very promptly.] To be told that you are not going to be given up on ,or 'abandoned' by a doctor is a real spirit lifter for patients . We are fortunate to have Dr. Sheth in the Orillia / Brechin area .

'One' of Dr. Sheth's most outstanding physician's skills is his Genuine interest and caring of his patients , and in helping them with all their various kinds of health issues. Some patients already have their diagnoses, and he helps to find the best treatments available to them. Some patients are still undiagnosed, after a very long time of being ill, and worsening, and he does not give up on them, which is so encouraging, especially for this kind of patient, who have often been 'given- up on' by other doctors. Everyone is aware of how very busy all family doctors are at this time, due to the serious doctor shortage in Canada, however,Dr. Sheth wisely and compassionately treats his patients with respect and concern,and makes them feel that they are going to be helped, to the best of his ability. This action, in itself, helps patients to have hope, and can't help but lift their spirits ,minds, and bodies. Dr. Sheth has figured out that being kind, courteous,empathetic, and a good , 'active' listener with his patients , ACTUALLY HELPS to benefit his patients' overall heath.We need more of Dr. Sheth's 'interaction-model' with patients to be practised by more doctors. His 3 staff members, at his Brechin Clinic ,with whom I also interacted today, were also very kind and efficient.

I just had an appt. with Dr. Sheth at his Brechin Clinic inside Brechin Phanrmacy. Dr. Sheth is a very patient listener , and therfore learns a lot about his patients' entire health and life situations , which helps him understand the 'whole' patient. Dr. Sheth is truly caring and kind in his interactions. This is so helful to patients and means so much in their overall care and progress. He gets things done very quickly and efficiently during the appt. ie: 2 prescription renewals ; an MRI referral; and 2 referrals to 2 different specialists. He does not rush his patients, or set short , limiting times, but rather,tries to 'hear' the important information that helps in the diagnoses and treatments. . Most of all... he makes you feel as if he actually 'cares' about YOU and your health issues. Dr . Sheth has the personal qualities that all doctors should have, to be in this 'care-taking' profession. There should be another MD 'Rating' category. ie: 'KINDNESS/COURTESY/ EMPATHY'. I wonder if doctors realize how very important this is to their patients, who are ill, injured, and frightened when they interact with them. [ Would be another 5 stars for Dr. Sheth.] HIs 3 staff members are also very kind and efficient. My spirits were lifted after I saw Dr. Sheth today. I am very grateful to have him as my doctor.

Dr. Sheth is amazing. I am so glad I ended up with him as a family doctor. The only issue I have is that you only get to see him by video at the Brechin location (but you can see him in person in Richmond Hill if you want to make the trip) and he can only really deal with one issue per appointment. He's clearly a busy guy. But he's good at what he does. He is also very interested in complex cases like mine and likes to learn.

Amazing doctor who opened up in orillia. Saved me a lot of timew. I never seen a doctor listen or smile and treat me with kidnees and respect. Really appreciate Dr ricky
