Dr. Rahmdel is an exceptional family physician. He listen carefully, explain things clearly, and truly guide you to what you really need and care about his patients.

I have been his patient since 2017, I am so happy with his diagnosis and approach. His staff are very helpful and friendly.

Earlier this week, I called Behnam Rahmdel’s clinic to book an appointment with him. The receptionist told me over the phone that my appointment is for 9:15 AM on Friday. I immediately wrote this down in my phone’s calendar and reconfirmed the appointment information immediately with the receptionist. I arrived for my appointment a few minutes early. I waited for 15 minutes before I got up and spoke to the receptionist. I asked her when Rahmdel would be seeing me as I had been waiting for nearly 25 minutes. Upon hearing this conversation, Rahmdel left his office and immediately confronted me. He told me that I was one hour early for my appointment. I told him this wasn’t accurate, that I had wrote down the appointment details in my calendar and that the receptionist had confirmed the details by phone at the time I made the appointment. I asked him why his clinic would not send email confirmation to clients when appointments are booked. He looked at me with a condescending face and said in a dismissive voice “we don’t do these kinds of things here”, meaning we don’t send email confirmations for scheduled appointments (which was extremely odd to me as this is 2024 and sending email confirmation for appointments is routine practice everywhere). He then told me in a condescending tone to get in the examination room. I entered the examination room and started telling him about my medical issue. Within ten seconds of me speaking, he interrupted me and stated with a completely dismissive tone that I did not know what I was talking about. He had a look of complete disdain for me. I got up and left. Rahmdel is the worst doctor I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. He has no bedside manner. He does not understand that when a patient walks through that door to see him, that person is dealing with a medical issue, is stressed and is looking for help and not to be lectured or spoken to in a dismissive and condescending manner. He has a massive ego and lacks empathy. To provide some additional context, he has been my family doctor for several years now and this wasn’t the first time I had a negative interaction with him. Last time I met with him, despite only talking to me for less than five minutes, he insisted that I would have to book another appointment with him to discuss a secondary but related issue I wanted to speak with him at this appointment. I gave him the benefit of a doubt at that time, but this final interaction described above is the last straw for me. If you are looking for medical services, save yourself the indignation and stress and go somewhere else.

Dr Rahmdel is an exceptional physician!! He listened to my complaints patiently and helped me to get diagnosed after years of suffering with symptoms. I’ve been to many hospitals, changed so many doctors, none of them were able to diagnose! We are so fortunate to have found him!! His secretary also very friendly and helpful. I can’t say enough about Dr.Rahmdel and the clinic staff . Dr.Rahmdel is a great listener and tries his best to accommodate patients needs. He is helping my son in a best possible way with his pilonidal issues. Staff are very kind and accommodating as well. Can’t thank you all enough.
