Dr Smith was my Obstetrician for my second baby after changing drs for my first baby. I can say after having 2 different Obstetricians, he's excellent and would highly recommend him! He was very caring, very respectful of my wishes with regard to my body and unborn child and very skilled . He has a natural gift for Obstetrics and I felt very supported under his care which was very important as I had a high risk pregnancy. I hadn't known about him prior to my first child and I'm grateful I was under good care. The staff at POGS are very good at managing the overall antenatal experience too as they kept checks on me the whole time. I had a very smooth running pregnancy with number 2 and that's all I could have asked for given my high risk pregnancy.

Dr Smith was my obstetrician and he is the kindest, most considerate hard working doctors I know. My experience with him and his team was excellent. I felt incredibly cared for, informed, and supported throughout my pregnancy which had some challenges. Dr Smith was incredibly knowledgeable but didn’t pretend to have all the answers and referred me onto experts when needed. The system at POGS works incredibly well with you meeting all the obstetricians prior to your due date just incase your chosen OB is not available you know who is there delivering with you. They offer classes, in house midwives and after birth support. Thank you for everything POGs

Agree with previous reviews about bedside manner and knowledge. I see him for gynaecological issues as opposed to obstetrics and feel very cared for.

Excellent doctor, Great bedside manner and takes time to listen. The staff at his clinic are friendly and efficient. Overall a great experience.

Highly recommend Dr Smith! He is friendly, kind, skillful and knowledgeable. I had 5 miscarriages prior to seeing Dr Smith. He was considerate, reassuring and attentive, providing individualised care. I was referred to Pierre by a Professor of MFM due to being high risk after a previous loss. Dr Smith made me feel so well cared for, listened to and at ease. He explained everything so I felt informed, let me be seen more frequently when requested for peace of mind and truly cared about myself and my baby. I couldn't have had a better experience and 100% recommend him to anyone. If we have another child I will definitely be returning to him. You and bub are in the safest hands with Pierre.

I could not be happier with my experience with Dr Smith. He takes the time to listen and really spends the time to make sure you feel heard, understood and cared for - the care during pregnancy and the delivery itself was absolutely fantastic. My first pregnancy managed by Dr O'NEIL was not great - where I felt like a was constantly being pushed into booking an induction/csection. The experience with Dr Smith was completely different - he was supportive of my wishes for a natural delivery and I never felt pushed to do anything I didn't want to. He and his team are amazing. I will be going back for my third.

Dr. Pierre Smith is a wonderful gynaecologist and surgeon. He correctly diagnosed me during my first appointment with him and later performed laparoscopy and endometriosis treatment. Prior, after the surgery and during my follow up appointment he was thorough, knowledgeable and kind in his approach. My scars are healing well and I’m feeling much better overall. I have complete trust in Dr. Pierre Smith and looking forward to seeing him again during my pregnancy.

Pierre is thoughtful and calm in his approach to OB. I am currently under his care for my second pregnancy. I feel very heard and trust him entirely.

He did my key hole hysterectomy, I went hime the next day and had almost no pain!
