We have been very fortunate to have had such wonderful dental care in our small town of Valleyview. I moved to Valleyview in 1975. Dr. Daryl Smith was my dentist from when he started his practice in Valleyview until he retired. Daryl was a great dentist and after he retired I was concerned about having to go to another dentist. He had been my dentist for around 30 years! Laurie, my dental hygienist, retired not too long after Daryl. These were two people I trusted and felt so at ease with. As a child I had a dentist that tramatised me! Dr. Anton Luu took over the Dental Clinic shortly after Dr. Daryl Smith retired ( semi retired) as I believe he is still very active with the CDA. Dr. Luu has been great! I have had a few BIG issues these past few years with my teeth. I am a Snowbird and ran into a major issue in Florida three winters ago. I went to an Oral surgeon in Vero Beach, Florida who advised pulling a tooth and having an implant. I contacted Dr. Luu from Florida and when I returned he was able to save my tooth with a root canal which is still doing just fine. Dr. Luu is very knowledgeable and competent and I have no hesitation in recommending him. I've had a few issues since my root canal and Dr. Luu has made knowledgeable decisions regarding these matters. No matter how busy he is, he will always make time to fit me in if something urgent comes up. Valleyview has been very fortunate indeed!

Would highly recommend this office. Although I liked my previous dentists fine, I didn't know what I was missing until I had my first consultation visit with Dr. Luu. I've never had a dentist spend as much time as he did with me. He took the time to take pictures of my teeth and gave me the most thorough exam I've ever had. He only recommended work that needed to be done and charged much less than my previous dentist did. So glad I went there. I wish the office was closer to where I live though.

I'm new to the grande prairie/Valleyview area ...and throuh the grapevine I had heard some mixed reviews about the Valleyview clinic- so I wasn't sure about becoming a patient there... I don't have any dental insurance and I was worried about costs. So I called around to 5+ offices in GP for estimates and Dr.Luu's office here in town had by FAR the LOWEST fees out of any of the other offices. I thought hmmm maybe you get what you pay for. BUT that is the farthest from the truth! It was such a great experience. The most thourough cleaning and examination I ever had done! Highly recommend checking this clinic out for yourselves! It may not have Netflix and tv's. But it has comfortable big chairs and very nice, outgoing, educated staff! I just want everyone to know to check it out for yourselves! Great clinic. Dr. Luu is an excellent dentist. Recently had a root canal and it was completely pain free.

Great experience from the moment I walked in until the moment I left! The hygienist there went above and beyond for me. I was so nervous and she talked me through everything. When it came time for my exam I could tell Dr.Luu was very busy but he took the extra time to explain everything to me- he even took pictures of all my teeth (even tho I sure looked funny with that aparatus in my mouth)! Highly recommend this clinic!

Before I became Dr. Luu's patient, I thought my only option was dentures. He rebuilt my teeth with bridgework that was truly amazing and the other side he reconstructed with dental implants and bridgework . I am so happy and grateful for all that he has done for me.

All my experiences with the Valleyview Dental Clinic have been extremely positive. I believe that I have received the best services that were right for me.
