I had LASIK done by Dr. Herzig. I never write reviews yet I had to thank Dr. Herzig for his state of the art institute and his professional and caring staff. they thought of every single detai. Keep up the great work.

My cataracts deteriorated suddenly and I found myself unable to work. I needed to get this looked after fast. Here we are, one month later, both eyes were operated on last week, and my vision is wonderful. They had me in for my consultation within two weeks. There are a lot of staff, and every one of them was excellent: helpful, skilled, caring, professional. Dr. Herzig was excellent. He discussed all of the options with me, made sure that I understood everything. The surgeries were quick and simple, and I was seeing well the same day.

Dr. Herzig operated on my father, who came from the Philippines, for the operation of cataract on both eyes. Dr. Herzig's knowledge and professionalism put my father at ease. He was polite, comforting and kind to my father who was then 75 years old. My father passed away, but he included his visits with Dr. Herzig for his eye operations as one of his best medical experiences.

Sheldon Herzig did LASIK on me 5 days ago and everything is going great! The staff is professional and you can tell they really know what they're doing. The procedure itself was straightforward and quick and the recovery has been great, only some slight halo effects around lights but no extreme dryness or soreness. I recommend Herzig for anyone getting LASIK.

Dr. Herzig performed my ICL surgery and I had 20/20 vision in both eyes within hours of the procedure. I found Dr. Herzig and his staff to be very professional and informative, taking the time to answer my questions and address concerns. The procedure itself is rather short (10 minutes per eye or so) and painless and I was able to go back to work the following day. Overall a great experience and I would recommend him to anyone considering this procedure.

I had LASIK done a month ago and I have 20/20 in both eyes. My eyes are always dry and I'm constantly using eye drops but other than that all is good. The staff at Herzig was very patient and kind to me throughout the entire process. Dr. Herzig is professional but I only spoke to him for a total of maybe 5 minutes from consultation to surgery. Had he spent a little more time talking me through the surgery and risks I would have been more comfortable but luckily his staff fills in that role for him.

Dr. Herzig is world renowned and is considered by many the best Corrective Surgeon in Canada. For the ICL procedure he is actually considered the best in North America. All I have to say that he deserves every bit of praise that he receives. I have spoken to many of his fellow colleagues and even to many optometrist who all know who he is and speak very highly of him. He did a great job on my eyes, I now have 20/20 in my left eye and 20/15 in my right. This is one day after the surgery. They said my vision should improve even more as more swelling goes down. He has a manner and presence that puts you at ease, no matter how well versed you may think you are in the surgery. My only complaint is that his front desk staff never gave me reminder calls for any of my appointments. As a health professional myself I found this very odd. Otherwise his support staff was great. Thank you again Dr. Herzig for the gift of sight. This will change my life forever!

I had an expensive lens replacement performed two years ago. Unfortunately they did my "good" eye first. I declined to get the other eye done until I was satisfied with the first one - which never happened. My "bad" eye is now better than the eye he operated on, even after many visits and at least three corrective procedures (each of which necessitated new glasses). My distance vision is blurry and haloed in that one eye, even with glasses. I am a professional driver - I was lucky I didn't lose my licence after each treatment and before I got new glasses. He kept saying, It'll get better. I wish I'd never walked in the door - I paid megabucks to have them make my eyesight worse, and even glasses can't give me the vision I had before. I didn't need the expensive procedure they recommended, I know that now.

AWFUL! What a joke. This Doctor is Cold! Uncaring. Disorganized. After waiting months to see him. I wait hours in the waiting room. I get less than 5 minutes with him. He orders some tests. I arrive at his lab and they don't have a clue what he wants. They send me back to him. I wait another hour. I get another 5 minutes then he asks me what I want. I go back down to the lab. They do a couple of tests. They send me home. The upshot; they'll have someone call me with results of the tests and recommendations. I wait 2 months. Nothing. I call. They don't know what I'm waiting for. AWFUL! Avoid this Doctor.
