This incredibly careless and sloppy surgeon has little regard for outcomes that go wrong. Some much needed attention to detail before, during and after surgery should be a priority. Check your ego at the door.

I was referred to Dr. Archinoff by my ophthalmologist, who herself had cataract surgery performed by him. I was not disappointed. Dr. Archinoff is an expert in his field, internationally renowned, and I felt very comfortable with his guidance throughout the process. His curious nature might be misinterpreted as unnecessary intrusiveness, but in reality it reflects his genuine interest in truly knowing his patients. The clinic staff is quite friendly. Special mention should be made of Yalda the paraprofessional who performed the initial tests and measurements. She is very kind, polite, and friendly, and carries out her work with confidence, professionalism, and efficiency. She is truly a gift to the clinic.

I met Dr. Arshinoff over 20 years ago for Cataract and eye LASIK surgery. My overall satisfaction is 10/10!!! I am 100% satisfied with Dr. Arshinoff's excellent knowledge and work.

underwent a procedure earlier this year that required several follow-up appointments, giving me a unique opportunity to observe not just the medical care, but also the environment and professionalism of the entire clinic. My experience has been overwhelmingly positive, and I want to address a few things I’ve seen mentioned in other reviews. First, regarding the clinic staff—some reviews suggest they are rude, but this could not be further from my experience. In fact, I found the staff to be exceptionally kind, patient, and professional. They maintained a calm and respectful demeanor, even when dealing with challenging and often rude patients—some of whom arrived extremely late for their appointments and then became belligerent when asked to wait. It was clear that the staff were doing their best under pressure, and I was consistently impressed by their grace and composure. I made a point of arriving on time for each of my appointments, and as a result, I rarely had to wait long. The office seems to run efficiently and systematically, with a clear process in place for each test and examination. Every staff member I encountered was courteous and respectful, and the entire experience was far more organized than most medical offices I’ve visited. One unfortunate aspect of the waiting room was not the staff, but some inconsiderate patients, such as those who insisted on having loud phone conversations, disrupting the calm atmosphere for everyone else. I wish more people recognized the importance of basic manners in shared public spaces. Now, on to Dr. Arshinoff himself. Before selecting him for my procedure, I did extensive research into his background. It became clear very quickly that he is a leader in his field, both nationally and internationally. He is widely respected for his surgical expertise, invited to teach and speak around the world, and actively contributes to the field through his philanthropic work. His credentials speak for themselves. Some people have commented that his bedside manner could be warmer, and while I understand that observation, I personally believe that when it comes to something as critical as your eyesight, skill and precision far outweigh small talk. I wasn’t looking for a new friend—I wanted the best possible outcome from the procedure, and Dr. Arshinoff delivered just that. The procedure was a complete success, and I am incredibly grateful to have had such a skilled surgeon. In summary, I highly recommend Dr. Arshinoff and his team. If you value professionalism, efficiency, and world-class expertise, you’ll be in excellent hands here. Just show up on time, treat the staff with the respect they deserve, and you’ll likely have a very positive experience—just like I did D.K.

Dr Arshinoff is the best and most informative doctor I have ever dealt in years he just did my surgery 2 weeks ago will be seeing him for my follow up . I had a eye specialist who treated me for 5 years and cancelled eye surgery the morning before stating she could not do it because of my small eyes paid for special drops from Montreal tests etc Wow I am so pleased that Dr A was recommend he is a great surgeon that s the only thing that matters Thank you AMF

I haven’t personally gone to see this doctor but my mother unfortunately has. This individual needs to have his medical license revoked. I’ve heard horror stories from her as well as my brother that has accompanied my mother numerous times. Return to etiquette school. The way he treats his patients, especially seniors is disrespectful and disgusting. Family doctors need to stop recommending him. To call himself a doctor is disgraceful. I've been a patient of Dr. Arshinoff for many years, and I have been very pleased not only with his care, but also with his knowledge. I recently had cataract surgery and I couldn't be more happy. We had careful discussions about the type of lens, etc. that would best suit me and my occupation. It was helpful to have frank and meaningful discussions. His office manager was clear about the cost and what is covered by OHIP and what isn't. There weren't any hidden and additional fees. He runs a busy office, but does take time to explain and has an informative AV screen rolling with excellent information while you wait. I followed the instructions given to me pre and post surgery, and my results were/are excellent. I'm so grateful because I needed my vision corrected to do my job, and I know I'm so much more confident doing it. Thank you.

Dr arshinoff is so rude! Superiority complex! He’s dealing with many elderly and treats them like children and doesn’t answer questions. My mom had cataract surgery and his bedside manner was awful. Would not recommend.
