Dr. N. has been my families doctor since 1980. He is a terrific doctor, always takes the time to listen to me, always refers when necessary and never has been a "Pill Pusher". I think the world of him.

Excellent Doctor takes the time to explain things to you in great detail rather than rushing off to the next appointment.

Dr. Nakamura has been my family doctor my entire life - I think he still has my baby charts in my file, 28 years later! He is as wonderful, kind, and caring as the other ratings on this website say. He's knowledgeable and doesn't hesitate to look things up or refer you to a specialist if it's required. He may be running a bit late if you book an end-of-day appointment, but he takes the time to really talk to his patients and doesn't rush through them, which I'd wait all day for! I now commute from Vancouver to see him, I can't imagine finding another doc as stellar. And I agree with the other reviews - it will be a very sad day when he retires!

he is usually a very good and helpful doctor but right now hes horrible my mom has rheumatism arthritis and she needs pain medicine because she is switching medication and he thinks shes taking to much but the truth is its not working so he refuses to give her more pain pills she was crying 30 minutes ago this makes me VERY mad he better fix things up, But other than this he is a very good Doctor but is late a lot that's why I rated him so high.

I had Dr Nakamura all my life and thought all doctors where like him until I moved and tried several others. Now, I happy trek half way across the Lower Mainland because he's just that good.

Dr. Nakamura has been my doctor for my entire life. He is very kind and helpful and seems genuinely interested in you. Follows up with any of your past problems. Never rushes you. A wonderful doctor. Please never retire!!

He has been my family doctor for 15 years. He is pleasant to deal with, and will refer to specialists or do some extra research to try and solve patients' problems.

Dr. Nakamura has been our Dr. for 28 years. He has no problem referring to specialist doctors. He spends time with patients and also spends time reading patient files. I am grateful to him for noticing a very important detail that my specialist had missed. We will miss him when he retires.
