Dr. Michael Lam has great general medical knowledge. He is compassionate, caring and explains himself thoroughly. Highly recommended!

Dr. Michael Lam is knowledgeable, caring and helpful. He doesn't rush you, he listens and explains clearly. If he prescribes a medication, he explains the reason he is prescribing it. He is knowledgeable about all kinds of ailments and treatments. He has pleasant manners and you feel like you are communicating with a friend. He is the best doctor we have had ever.   Thank you to Dr. Lam and the staff for your service.

My family and I have been going to Dr.Lam for 25 years. He can be late if you have a morning appointment but he is caring and friendly. Lots of comments here say he rushes you out but I like his short and sweet approach. He is so caring that he calls my house to talk to my two elderly grand mothers to do a wellness check. He takes the time to answer your questions. Speaks English and Cantonese. No complaints. Very good at finding your vein for blood work!

Dr lam is very knowledgeable in medicine. But he is also quite impatient in dealing with patients. Always try to rush you out of his office. His answer to your question is very brief and seems impatient. However he is well established in this area and may have too many patients.

He's pretty rude and so is his receptionist. He has a tendency to belittle you if you ask a medical question. The only good thing about him is that he can do a blood test without sending you off to an offsite center.

This doctor is like a businessman, always rush you out even though there isn't a long line up. He doesn't seem to concern about his patients at all.

This doctor is seldom on time. His answer to your question is always very belief. When you are in his office, you get a feeling that he is rushing you out.

Staff is friendly and helpful. Dr. Lam is friendly, but seems overwhelmed by the sheer number of patients he handles. This often results in a quick diagnosis followed by a, "Come back later this week for a follow up" response. He normally has room for appointments within a day or two. Wait time is usually 15 to 30 minutes. Longest I've waited was 45 minutes to an hour. He seems knowledgeable, but I sometimes worry that he is way too quick to a conclusion. In his defense, his speedy approach is more of a product of a huge patient population(I'm assuming this is the same for nearly all established family doctors in the GTA) than a lack of concern for his customers. Been a patient with him for 2 years.
