Dr Retson is awesome. I thought my days of running were coming to an end with an foot injury, but he set me up with orthotic inserts and I'm a new person!

I called to make an appointment with Dr. Retson but ended up not taking the appointment. It seems bizarre and unprofessional to only take cash, and the receptionist then indicated that there is an ATM in the clinic lobby which seems shifty. As well, the receptionist second guessed the fact that my insurance would pay for treatment, even though they have covered this with other podiatrists.

Dr. Retson did a matrixotomy for me. He put the freezing in without any pain. It was amazing. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Retson is the worse and has no clue of what goes on in 2021 regarding healthcare...or does he and continues to take advantage(I'm a senior by the way). I went to see him for a mild toe infection due to banging it on a stone hearth.My big toe was black and blue which he supposedly treated with a little buffing and some peroxide so after a year and not losing the nail I saw him again for the same only now my nail not only grew long but layered thickening.He buffed the toe and used some of the same astringent.Months later I saw him again and he repeated the same technique.I ended up buffing the toenail myself and it became a normal toenail.Dr.Retson both times I saw him in Truro insisted I pay him 65.00 cash or write him a personal cheque which I did both times after the appt. since he was not set up for my Blue Cross medical plan through work.Ppl need to be made aware of this Dr.Retson....cash only or personal cheque ????? Who takes personal cheques or cash these days for Doctors appt......Just something to think about for the people who still believe.I rate this Dr. 00000

I have been going to Dr Retson for many years not, very helpful

Dr Retson recently removed an ingrown toenail for me. He did a superb job, worked quickly and efficiently. Highly recommend him to anyone with recurrent ingrown toenails.

I have been to Doctor Retson twice through the Diabetic Clinic. Seemed very competent. Worked quickly and was interesting to talk to.

Very disappointing. Spent too much time lecturing me about fitness levels and not enough time in telling me how to deal with my issue. Will not be going back. Office was very dingy and to be honest, I did not feel comfortable with the hygiene level.

First visit. Diabetic patient. Didn't do anything to my feet except put a piece of cloth on the arch and told me to get sneakers. didn't do nails, calluses or anything. Felt like a big waste of time and effort and they even had me pay upfront.
