The web is like the wild west. Anything goes. Anyone can write pro or con remarks, whether they be true or not. False reviews are not useful for those looking for an honest evaluation of a product or service. It is best to keep this in mind when reading reviews, pro or con.

worst experience in my life, worst staff. I felt rushed, pushed to have the surgery the same day. the doctor (Jeffrey dello russo) was very rude and didn't seem like he had a lot of experience or confidence. Stephanie the wife of Joseph dello russo was pushing me to apply for care credit and charge it the same day . very rude and obnoxious woman. obviously all they care about is the $$. Michael the doctor assistant pretends to be an OD but he really isn't hes doesn't even have a college degree. He's just trained to close the deal. The russian woman doesn't know what shes talking about all she says is how beautiful you look and how great is gona be after surgery but nothing with facts. Their entire staff is unprofessional CICI is another one that doesn't know what shes talking about and clearly has no clue about sales.

Surgery didn't work new Hyde park. Staff rude now im out 3500

Let me start by saying I agree that this medical office is an assembly line. By the time you leave the office you feel more like it was a buisness rather than medical care. I went for an evaluation end of March 2012. While in the office I felt rushed and being forced to get procedure(LASIK) done that same day. After I told the staff that I was alone that day and coundlt do it and will need to reschedule.I was told to try to apply for a care credit line and see if it will approve. Nonetheless I didn't do it. Fastfoward 3 wks later I got a bill from Care Credit for the surgery that clearly I still have not gotten done.I have been calling to get this clarify and I am getting the running around. I am beyond frustrated. Now I got this bill that reflect my credit that I have not done yet.Do your reserach and don't feel obligated if you go to them.I can understand paying the cancelation fee but charging me the whole procedure fee is ludacris.

i have had a regular eye exam and a consultation for lasik with the Dello Russo office. First off, for the eye exam, it is definitly an assembly line. i saw 6 different people before i saw the doctor. the nurse did the eye exam and all the doctor did was double check. the nurse went to put drops in my eyes and didnt explain what they were, what she was doing, just went for it! they ended up only being to dilate my pupils but i feel you should tell a patient what you are doing! At the Lasik center, again an assembly line. again, nurses and somebody else did all the tests and eye exams. YET AGAIN they went to put drops in my eyes! didnt tell me what they were NOTHING. this time they were numbing drops! being that this is a serious procedure that involves your EYES i feel you should make me feel as comfortable as possible. they just wanted me out of the chair ASAP to put someone else in. awful! I used to get my eye exam at lenscrafters and i will gladly pay full price to see my doctor!

I can not agree with any of these bad reviews. I had no negative feelings, no negative experiences with Dr. Dello Russo or his staff. In fact, it was quite the opposite. Everyone was very caring, pleasant and took very good care of me. My follow ups with his sons were the same. I believe you have to find out for yourself as there are some people in this world that find fault in everything. Maybe not knowing the exact numbers of procedures they do is not the most important aspect when deciding a quality surgeon to take care of you. I had mine in 2007 and I have nothing bad to say about the office of Dr. Dello Russo, his sons, or his staff.

It an assembly line atmosphere. I was clearly told at my consultaion that i would see better then with my glasses. I have astigmatism so the glasses are never stitting right. i had two procedures and still my right eye is not clear. after i complained about It I was treated like i didnt know what i was talking about. "You are seeing 20/20" i was not. even after telling them my own doctor agreed my right eye was off they said a third procedure would be not worth the risk to my eyes . I ended up going to a different eye doctor to complete my right eye.I would not trust or recommend this doctor.

Dont judge my ratings,as I did not have laser surgery with Dr Dello Russo, but had a negative impression from my consultation. He told me he had no data on what portion of his patients ended up with 20/20 or better vision, told me not to trust other surgeons' number because they will lie, and then told me that every single one of his patients got 20/20 or better, which is hardly believable. When I asked him about another surgeon I'd visited, he warned me not to go to her, but amazingly refused to tell me why. He told me that PRK was better than LASEK (which he doesn't do) but couldn't direct me to any publications about it (even though I'd already read one). He said the surgery would be done by him or his son, but that he didn't know how many procedures his son had done! When I asked about how soon I could get surgery, he tried to brush me off (because I was asking many questions?), refusing to say anything more specific than "let's say in a few weeks." It just seemed shady all around.
