Outstanding! I couldn't recommend Dr Kevin Pauza enough. I agree with the others, he doesn't care about the $$ he cares about what is best for you! I will be recommending Kevin and Carrie to everyone.

Dr..Pauza had high hopes of a wonderful procedure he wanted to try on my back....however, it was not FDA APPROVED ...meaning I would be responsible for the 20,000.00 plus dollars...When I couldnt pay that, he slapped A fentanyl patch on me and an Rx of Norco and my nightmare began! After over a year of this....I wanted off the Fentanyl Patch (i was never informed about how addictive this was and it was not going to be like the snap of a finger....i had made and had to cancel several appts withs Dr.Pauza over the course of a couple because of the murder of my brother,.,.this errogant Dr. Informed me that his patients all had personal matters, but they did not cancel on him....My brother was murdered a trial had started and my priority was not this appt,,,he dropped me as a patient...while wearing his stupid Fentanyl Patch...I started trying to wean my self but my primary care said I really need to do this slowly and with Pauzas guidance...Pauza eventually agreed to see me...but after arriving, my husband simply would not shake the mans hand because he had made Light of the murder of my brother...he actually threatened that if my husband did not shake his hand we had to leave! This is one arrogant man! Mark shook his hand against his will and Dr .Pauza gave me a lower dose of Fently where I could start tapering off....he even tried to give me a new Norco Rx...I refused this...and actually after wearing lower dose for a week and against my primary cares advice ...I ripped that Fentanyl patch off and never put on another one...so I skipped the tapering off and yes I got sick,.,.had I known the seriousness of this drug I woukd have never agreed to this! I should have researched this drug before begininning treatment with it, instead of waiting so long.....I can honestly say I have never met a more errrogant man ! If this review will cause atleast one patient to check further into his background, it will ease what he put me thru by just knowing atleast someone else will not endure Dr.Kevin Pauza......Oh! And for the 2 minutes I met with him for the decreased dosage Rx...the same incident where my husband had refused to shake his hand...he was in between patients amd met me in a waiting room...Checked nothing ...did nothing...with the exception of literally taking Rx out if his pocket and giving it to me....SIX months later he had the nerve to send me a bill....Since what happened to me, I have heard numerous other horror stories! Pkease people....Do your research before making an appt with this man!

My office visit wasn't terribly long but it was thorough. Dr. Pauza had all my test results and the treatments I'd had the previous several years. He looked them over before he came into the exam room. He was thorough, he asked questions that weren't "over my head" with medical lingo, and he described what the procedure would be. I would have refused to have the procedure if it had involved plates, screws and bars. It's been 4 years, 7 months now, and I am very much better than I was before the procedure. As long as you do what he tells you to do afterward, and are careful, you WILL be ok. You may not be like you were at age 16, but when you are 40 years older than that, you can't expect that.

My primary care doctor sent me to see Pauza. I have had back pain for years and my meeting with him was early on, so it's been awhile. I just want to tell you my experience with this "wonderful boss." After a bit of a wait, the nurse came to get me. I informed her I wanted my husband to be with me. She said it wouldn't take long. I still informed her I wanted my husband with me. Two people trying to remember what the doctor says is better than one. She ushered me in to a small room and when Pauza came in, I stated again, I wanted my husband to be with me. Well, that didn't happen and I was upset. I was already in pain and this didn't help my state of mind; and No Deary, (to the impassioned employee) I wasn't seeking medication when I went in his office, but when I came out it was a different story. ---- So on to the exam. Pauza wanted me to lift my arm. I told him I couldn't that it hurt to bad. So he grabs ahold of it and yanks it up. Dear God that hurt and I started crying. He said, "I don't give out pain meds" and that wasn't the first time he had said it. He ended the visit abruptly and ushered me out the back door. Of course this is the short version, but the visits are short. Gotta keep the visits short to keep the patients and the money flowing through. My opinion. After leaving I did go by my primary care doctor and Pauza had already called him. My PC doctor, who really IS a wonderful, caring, and compassionate man & doctor gave me an injection at the point of (now) even more excruciating pain. Pauza is not a doctor I would send my loved ones or enemies to. My personal opinion as well as those of others evidently

Showed little compassion for pain and injury. Seemed only concentration was on the cost of the procedures and collection of funds. Which by the way, is very expensive; $25,000 to $30,000 is what I was quoted. This procedure is NOT covered by insurance, and this is NOT approved by the FDA. Do your research.

Kind, nurturing and empathetic are three words that come to mind when describing Dr.Pauza and his team. Not exactly punctual for the first consultation but I've yet to meet a doctor who is. Certainly Dr.Pauza is worth the wait. All procedures WERE on time. Staff was courteous. One male nurse sticks out in my memory not only for his exceptional skills but for his understanding nature and thoughtfulness about feeling exposed in those awful hospital gowns. I highly recommend Dr. Pauza and his team and will be returning shortly to get back in competition form. Dr.Pauza is very gracious..

Your review is very kind and we are glad that our staff was helpful. Sorry about those gowns, but there's no easy way around them. Thank you for the recommendation.

Horrible results from fibrin sealant procedure. Permanent damage to spine as a result. Shocking lack of concern or post-procedure follow-up from this doctor's practice.

3 hour wait in office not uncommon. Essentially abandoned me after surgical procedure. Could not get anyone in the office to call me back for weeks after I complainted about failed procedure. Total lack of compassion and absolutely horrible bedside manner. I would not recommend him.
