I don’t know why you would go anywhere else. Dr. L’Hommedieu is so personable and really takes the time to get to know you and he listens! Pulls a chair right up in front of you, giving you his full attention and listens. He explains everything fully and makes sure you don’t have any other questions before stepping out of his office. I had two knee replacements with him and he and his staff are so friendly and caring. You can tell the staff at the hospital love him and love working with him too. I would recommend Dr. L’Hommedieu to anyone and have. You won’t regret being under his care. He and his team truly root for you along the way.

Dr. L'Hommedieu's staff is wonderful. He, however, didn't do a very good job on my knee. At first after my surgery, I thought it was better, but as time went on it became apparent that it was no better. I'm unhappy and went to another surgeon, who said I had no meniscus left, my knee was bone on bone, and needed a knee replacement.

Great Doctor and staff. He does not rush to surgery as the answer to your problem. Several years ago I was sure I would need knee surgery, but I saw Dr. L'Hommedieu and he assured me that at that time I was not at the point of having to have it, he suggested that I try a cortisone injection to see if it helped first. It lasted about 4 years, now I am going to schedule another appointment to see if I can get another. My wife has also seen him and likes him as much as I. I have complete confidence in this doctor,

Looking for a new doctor, as I Never see Dr. L, but instead his assistant Shayna. I am never given alternative treatments other than cortisone injection into my knee a few times a year, which is basically a Band-Aid. The only time you will see him is immediately before or after surgery, never at regular appointments.

The only thing I didn't like about the doctor visit is his assistant acted like I was asking a crazy question when I inquired about wait time for booking a surgery . The doctor was able to tell me as little as three days. I actually had to insist on the assistant to give me some window of time. It was like pulling teeth. Then I called later to ask about rehab conservative treatment and the assistant got rude as if I was putting her out. She even went so far as to say the doctor doesn't even know if you have a rupture. That was news to me because the doctor said he was certain it was and was going to operate within 3 days if I gave him the OK. Maybe she just made that up to suit her rudeness. Front desk gal was rude as well when I inquired about window for surgery date.

My doctor is very patient and kind. He is professional yet easy to talk to. I would highly recommend him. I trust his opinion and care.

The care I received from Dr. L'Hammedieu and his staff during regularly scheduled appointments and surgery was excellent.

After agonizing over hip replacement too long, we felt complete trust in him and scheduled surgery the same day we met with him. The surgery went very well and the only regret is that we didn't do it sooner. My mother has her life back! She is up and running at age 79.

The complete staff if friendly, helpful, they make you feel at ease. all questions are answered in terms patient can understand. Dr. L'Hommedieu is the best ever. He is an amazing Dr., professionally and personality wise. He is down to earth in his conversation with you, makes you feel you are in good hands. My surgery went so well and I feel so good.
