I suffered with nerve pain for over 2 years around the incision after total knee replacement. The pain was excruciating making my life miserable. Prior to discovering Dr. Dellon, I had tried topical creams, steroid injections, laser treatments, and TENS therapy. I was told by other doctors that I would just have to learn to live with my pain. I was prescribed pain and depression medicines, and nothing relieved the pain. Dr. Dellon gave me my life back. After consulting him in July 2015, he identified and removed the 3 nerves that were causing my pain. I am eternally grateful to him. He and his staff were wonderful to me. I would recommend him to anyone with nerve pain.
Dr. Dellon has been a real lifesaver for me....if I had not found him I know I would have never found anyone that could help me as I have been to so many doctors and had so many surgeries prior to finding Dr. Dellon, I was in disbelief when I was referred to him by a doctor from UCSF. I went to Dr. Dellon in Henderson, Nevada and the words out of his mouth that he could definitely help me were wonderful words to hear. I had 36 surgeries prior to finding Dr. Dellon to which my pelvic pain was either not relieved at all or only partially for a short time. I had a surgery in 1990 in which my bladder was removed and a bag put inside because a tumor on the exterior of the uterus that no doctor had been able to find. When the doctor did this bladder removal he put mesh inside of the pelvic area and he did not tell me nor did he put it in his operative report. Dr. Dellon did the first surgery on me in July 2014 and that is when the mesh was found. Dr. Dellon had to remove all of it as it was grown into nerves etc. This surgery helped me dramatically, however, I still had a great lot of pain and irritation in the left side vaginal area near the exterior. I also still had a lot of burning and hurting along the pubic bone that I had been told previously by other doctors that the skin was stuck to the pubic bone. Dr. Dellon did a second surgery on me in Dec. 2014 and he was able to find a neuroma on the left side vaginal area and removed it. That made me feel even better. Then in March I was still complaining of a lot of pain in the vaginal area where the skin was stuck to the bone and other pain and burning. Dr. Dellon did the third surgery in March 2015 in which he did a neurectomy of several branches of nerves that helped me even more. I feel so very much better since I found Dr. Dellon. Yes, he doesn't take insurance, however, if he did he would be unable to help people like he does. The hospital did take insurance. I feel so very fortunate to have found such a wonderful doctor that for once really did what he said he would do. I do have some nerve pain, however, the nerves are still healing and since the mesh had been in there since 1990 there could be nerves damaged that can't be cut. I am so proud of Dr. Dellon and I will say he is the best!!! Connie L. Morris
