Riding a rollercoaster. Playing the hero in an adventure. Heck, even time travel.
All of this and more is possible for kids stuck in hospitals, thanks to virtual reality. Volunteers from GameStart bring their world to the C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital at the University of Michigan, giving kids the opportunity to do virtually anything.
Even the kids with very debilitating illnesses can be regular kids for a bit. See the story courtesy of NBC News.
Like they said, let’s hope every hospital can get this technology for the terminally ill patients one day.
