As a JHH public patient, he was dismissive and left me in pain with no solution. His registrar was apologetic for his dismissive manner and wrote a pain script. I was able to get steroid injections by my GP for a few years until I had to have a knee replacement. It sounds like he is a different service provider when you are a private patient.
