I have had 2 lumbar spine surgeries by Prof Ghabrial and I can’t thank him and his staff enough.

Prof Ghabrial did a hugh spinal fusion on me a couple of years ago. It didn't go well. 14 months later a screw became loose & he told me he had to tighten it up and had hugh surgery again. He didn't tighten everything up but took the rods & screws out instead. Last year I spent the whole year suffering in pain and developed a hugh ball of fluid on my spine called a seroma. I had it drained every week for approximately 5 months. I cannot walk now, am in worse pain than ever and my discs are slipping out so bad I have intense pain, down my right leg. I can't stand even or sit long. He did a bad job and the rods shouldn't have been removed. He is much too old to operate. I made a hugh mistake getting Ghabrial, now I have to have more intensive surgery to fix up the hugh mess he made in my spine. I am extremely upset. He doesn't even explain anything to you, plus Lingard Hospital treatment was absolutely disgusting. Both times I was treated badly. Don't recommend him or Lingard. He also lied to me and said everything he did was right. My new surgeon says it wasn't. I have to now have surgery again shortly so I can be out of pain and walk!!

After many consultations with Gp,being told by workerscomp I'm ok I had visit with Prof Ghabrial. He had mri done my back was a disaster, spinal fusion 9months ago I'm living normality again. In my eyes he is a legend!

Professor Ghabrial is the best doctor and first doctor I ever had to go to for all my scoliosis check ups when I was younger! He did my scoliosis surgery last year and I will never beable to thank him and his staff enough honesty my hero and every time I come up for check ups at the hospital I will bring him a present just to show how much I appreciate him I’m forever greatful for him being alive and my scar is so thin and healed up, I’m in no pain what so ever and I’m so excited, can’t wait to see you thanks again prof ! ❤️

I would never recommend Prof Ghabrial to anybody. After telling my mother that she had a benign tumour on her spinal nerve and that they should 'wait and see' what happens with it, another surgeon was able to diagnose her with Lymphoma and has started immediate treatment on her, evidently saving her life. Prof Ghabrial does not pay attention to his patients concerns nor look into their conditions with as near as much detail as he should. If you value your health and want a thorough review of your condition, choose someone else.

A wonderful doctor who has done so much for me ,his staff are amazing and I honestly can't thank him enough .A caring doctor who listens and go above and beyond to help .
