I had fallen off a ladder and I didn't really think I was that hurt until the next day. I was given a referral with another orthopedic who I was definitely not happy with so I was sent to Dr Spinner who was just really great. The entire office, his demeanor and genuine care for my well being was extremely appreciated. Based upon my experience...I highly recommend Dr Spinner.

After seeking help from several doctors (Podiatric Surgeon, Neurologist, Orthopedic foot and ankle surgeon, Orthopedic back surgeon and even an Acupuncturist) I was told there was no remedy for the drop foot I developed after severely stubbing my left foot big toe. It took me nearly 2 years after I ruptured my anterior tibial tendon to get to Dr. Spinner. After examining me and the MRI, he immediately knew what the issue was and explained what the remedy was. I had been in extremely bad pain and the injury ended my career in Law Enforcement. This was a life altering injury. Dr. Spinner performed a posterior tendon transfer surgery to address my drop foot condition. Little did I know that this is not a common procedure and that few podiatric and orthopedic surgeons perform it. Thanks to Dr. Spinner and P.T. Richard Howard I am walking again and am recovering at home. Dr. Spinner and his staff are knowledgeable, skilled and very friendly. I highly recommend him and his staff!

I ended up having bunion surgery with Dr. Spinner because recommendations of doctors.
I ended up with a lot of metals in my foot for nothing, I waited a year and a half for swelling to disappear and went back to him because I had pain on the bottom of my foot and I was concerned because bunion was back, he didn't even pay attention to my complaint about the pain , took Xrays, left me waiting for a long time and then he said: Yes, it is even worse than before and that he could perform another surgery to correct the problem. Really?
You are not, not, not, not recommended. Terrible experience...
I ended up with a bone callus under my third toe that hurts a lot (I didn't have any pain before my surgery), my big toe and the other two are deformed and I have a lot of metals in my foot, which probably were not necessary.
Very sad and disappointed.

I went to Dr. Spinner to ask about solutions for my flat feet and excessive sweating. First off, I waited 1 hour and 20 minutes after my appointment time, which was annoying but understandable because they were busy. However what was not understandable was how Dr. Spinner was clueless about his own field. He didn't know there was a surgery to solve hyperhydrosis of the feet...
he also left halfway through our appt and didn't come back until I asked a staff member where he was and that was I was not finished asking questions. When he came back he was visibly annoyed. This is his job, he shouldn't have an attitude about it. Lastly, he wrote my perception so sloppily that CVS couldn't even read it so I now have to wait 48 hours to get a prescription I could have easily just picked up at the time.

As surgery is often not by choice but a doctor is, this is the doctor I would choose all over again! Thank you Dr Spinner, I now know firsthand why you came so highly recommended!

Dr. Spinner has done surgery on 3 of my family members over the last 10 years. I finally had my surgery over the summer. He is well known in the area as the doctor who other doctors send their difficult patients and family members to for surgery. He has trained many foot surgeons in Florida and is still the chief of the residency program in Plantation. After suffering for many years I can finally wear closed shoes again! I highly recommend him.

I was referred to Dr. Spinner from a hospital in New York. I had a congenital foot deformity that was operated 4 times with no improvement. Dr. Spinner was recommended because he was the past president of the national certifying board in foot and ankle surgery. He did a major reconstruction and now I can finally walk pain free without a brace!

Dr. Spinner was recommended by another podiatrist so I felt assured that I would be in competent hands. Dr. Spinner performed surgery and I am no better off then I was prior to surgery. I have spent thousand of dollars on both office visits and physical therapy since the surgery to no avail. Dr Spinner has recommended another surgery to repair the previous issues that were not addressed during the initial surgery. I have been at this since 2009 with no improvement. I could not agree to another surgery by this Dr. His staff is incompetent and cannot get billing and records straightened out. I have made numerous attempts to get my records transferred but, it appears my requests keep falling on deaf ears.

I went to Dr. Spinner because he was recommended by another podiatrist for surgery. The second time I went to see Dr. Spinner I waited for OVER an hour and half to be seen and he saw me for LESS than 2 minutes.... after I waited for OVER an hour an half WHILE IN PAIN!!! So I asked someone at the front desk how could I make sure that didn't happen again and she said to schedule for right after lunch. So I did. And so Dr. Spinner showed up 35 minutes late from lunch. He has no sense of other people's time. Now ontop of that he did surgery on both my feet and they BOTH hurt about 10X MORE after surgery than before and he's done NOTHING to try and help. I've suffered not for over 12 weeks and he's not so much as recommended physical therapy. He's TERRIBLE !!! I'm much WORSE off now than I was before. He wanted me to "be active" and not rest and now I'm paying for it. His advice has RUINED my quality of life because I'm always in pain now. AVOID this doctor !!!
