Wouldnt suggest birthing with Tsengi unless you want an epidural and arent going to be much fuss during labour. If you're cool with not being allowed to move and being ignored except to have drugs pushed on you then you'll be fine with her. If you're hoping for a natural supportive labour GO ELSEWHERE!!!!

I think Tshengi was my favorite midwife this pregnancy. She was easy to relate to and very relaxed and calm. She knew what she was talking about but never gave me a feeling of anxiety when I brought my concerns. She is funny and sweet and she would be the reason I would want to keep in touch over the years with updates and whatnot. Love all the girls but I felt a stronger connection with Tshengi this time around.

Chiny is one of the midwives at Beautiful Babies Midwifery in Port Moody. Chingy is quite different from Dina and Tamara and she brings a sense of old school womanhood, with a good dose of humour, to your experience. Upon meeting her she comes across and super easy going and relaxed and that is exactly what you want during your labour. It took me a few minutes to get past her accent and I caught myself asking her to repeat the question a few times (felt bad but she mumbles a bit). Although I didn't have many check up appointments with her throughout my pregnancy, she was with me during my labour (not delivery) and post delivery checkups. Her experience as a mother and midwife were exceptionally helpful to me as a first time mother. She is calming, warm and very loving. I would definitely recommend Chingy and Tamara and Dina at Beautiful Babies Midwifery in Port Moody.
