Dr. Blau is very knowledgeable. She is excellent in diagnosing and planning treatment. However, she does not listen, has beastly bedside manners, does not take responsibility for errors, and has no concern for punctuality. Her personality causes frequent, ongoing staff changes which in turn causes all manner of errors, delays, miscommunication, and loss of orders and outsourced test results. If you see her, never ever go alone—you must have someone to take detailed notes (to correct treatment errors in the chemo room and elsewhere), and to buffer her harshness. If you perfectly fit a protocol and have no trouble with less common side effects, Dr. Blau will be tolerable . Be prepared for consistent 1-2 hour delays beyond your appointment times, her forgetting details discussed in your previous appointments, and the high likelihood of being greeting with criticism. Her PA is amazing, so see her as often as possible instead of Dr. Blau.

Dr Blau is very knowledgeable and she works at staying on top of new findings in her field. She had all her patients DNA-tested when she found out that tamoxifen was not assimilated by some people, depending on their genes. I was one of those. I am grateful I did not get to take tamoxifen for 5 years when it would not have helped me. She prescribed me something else. An amazing woman, down to earth and easy to talk to.

Dr. Blau took my health very seriously. Any issues that I had, she made sure to resolve as quickly as possible. Blau explained everything thoroughly and is very pleasant to be around. The staff is also very friendly and caring. Throughout my ordeal, everyone kept me smiling and never feeling uncomfortable or depressed. I couldn't imagine going anywhere else for my care. They were always on top of anything pertaining to my health and well-being.

I used to work along side this woman. I won't leave too many details as I still work in close relation. She is human resources worst nightmare. Dr Blau only cares about herself. Over books and expects her staff to run around to accommodate her crazy schedule. If she is behind and keeps the patient waiting it is everyone else's fault. She is impossible to make happy and expects the world to orbit around her. The other doctors are wonderful and I don't understand how they can work along side her (she financially backs the company) does she care about her patients? Some, yes! Especially if you are willing to enroll in a new chemotherapy medication trial so she can brag about a new discovery or advancement in the field but, if you are a average person who is ill and needs a warm heart to listen and be there for you she is NOT the doctor to see. Ever wonder why they have so much turn over? 100% because of this woman she is impossible to make happy. I about fell over when I found out she had kids... Not a single motherly loving cell in this woman's body. See any other oncologist, see the physicians assistant, you would get better care and advice via web MD.
