Dr. Blau is very knowledgeable. She is excellent in diagnosing and planning treatment. However, she does not listen, has beastly bedside manners, does not take responsibility for errors, and has no concern for punctuality. Her personality causes frequent, ongoing staff changes which in turn causes all manner of errors, delays, miscommunication, and loss of orders and outsourced test results. If you see her, never ever go alone—you must have someone to take detailed notes (to correct treatment errors in the chemo room and elsewhere), and to buffer her harshness. If you perfectly fit a protocol and have no trouble with less common side effects, Dr. Blau will be tolerable . Be prepared for consistent 1-2 hour delays beyond your appointment times, her forgetting details discussed in your previous appointments, and the high likelihood of being greeting with criticism. Her PA is amazing, so see her as often as possible instead of Dr. Blau.
