A very caring Doctor who is very approachable and genuinely concerned with your medical conditions. Dr. Khurram is excellent and the care he provides is well planned and very much appreciated. Staff are extremely friendly and prompt to reply to phone calls or queries.....

Condescending, and really not helpful at all. What a gigantic waste of waiting. I wish we had a family gp, that would be better.

Dr Khurram was very caring and approachable. His manner was calming. My mother was under his care for five months. He was persistent and able to help her. He always had time to listen to our family and help us through this tough time.

Dr K was my mother's doctor while she was admitted to Royal Jubilee Hospital. During her stay he ran multiple tests to confirm his diagnosis and not only figured out what had happened to her ; but prescribed meds to significantly improve her condition then before discharging her started her on therapy to postpone any deterioration in her state and will follow up with her on an outpatient basis. We were indeed fortunate to have caught this condition early and have her start treatment before her condition became any more serious. We look forward to him following up her care and hope to have more time with her with a sound mind before she passes.

Sincere praise to Dr S. Khurram for the care of my sister as inpatient 2 South at Royal Jubilee, Victoria.

Dr Khurram admitted his patient, my sister, during a severe Early Onset Dementia/Alzheimer’s episode.

I first met Dr Khurram at the hospital, as I accompanied my sister throughout inpatient admittance. where he approached us in a gentle manner and accessed and treated my sister’s immediate care and followed through on a highly successful treatment plan.

Dr Khurram took time on many occasions, even off the ward, to update me on the progress of my sister’s treatment. His demeanour is always pleasant and professional.

I know too that my brother-in-law was afforded excellent communication by Dr Khurram.

Our faintly’s sincere gratitude goes out to Dr Khurram’s and the brilliant team of 2South RJH.

I give an excellent rating for Dr. Shahzad Khurram. From the moment my mother and I met this wonderful man, the relief I felt was palpable. In my view, in his calm and quiet way, Dr. Khurram quickly and accurately accessed my mother, which, over the next five weeks or so, ultimately led to her renewed wellness. Dr. Khurram was available for questions and concerns, and always had the patience and took the time to go over my mother's care plan thoroughly. I had no idea that her level of recovery could be so significant, to the point where Mom 'reentered' life. I unhesitatingly recommend Dr. Khurram.

Dr Khurram is an excellent Psychiatrist. His testing and analysis are detailed and explained in terms that can be understood. His recommendations for medications are well throughout and implemented carefully. He is very accessible for ongoing follow-up.

Our family had extensive involvement with Dr Khurram during the 2 month hospitalization of our father. We found Dr K (as we affectionately called him) to be very competent and he managed a radical improvement in our fathers condition over the treatment period. The improvement was so dramatic that our father was able return home to a near normal life, which nobody expected at the outset. Communication through the whole experience was top notch with family conferences freely arranged whenever we felt the need. The interactions were always sensitive and thorough and demonstrated a high level of expertise. Telephone follow ups were prompt and showed a willingness to address our questions and concerns. Dr K's staff were equally caring and committed to the rehabilitation of Dad, and his return to a safe home environment. Dad started out somewhat ambivalent about the relationship but ended up a firm believer in the caring and knowledgeable treatment delivered by Dr Khurram.
The whole family is grateful to Dr K for the highly successful treatment that he orchestrated. Post-discharge follow up has already taken place and a program of return visits has been put in place.
